It's been some time since I last posted a video. I'm going through some personal things. Some of you might have a clue based on my last few videos. However, other things are also happening in the background. An important project I am working on is writing a new book on a topic I've never tackled before. I can't give any clues for now. It's my hope that finish this book before the end of the year. And perhaps publish it in January 2026. Also, this channel will be shifting and changing directions in the months to come.

This weekend, I was at a creator event, #Vidfest2025. It's the first live creator event I've ever attended. It was conveniently in Atlanta. A fellow attendee @EdVenturesVlog continuously livestreamed his entire experience for over 10 hours at a time. It was mind-blowing to me. It was a live reality show on both Twitch and Youtube courtesy of his two streaming accounts. As Ed explained to me, I (among others) was a recurring character because I made several appearances and conversations on camera.
It was a new experience for me. I never intentionally inserted myself into his livestreams but I was genuinely curious, fascinated and in awe what he was doing in front of all of us the entire 3 days. I also found Ed smart, insightful, interesting, and just an all-around likable guy. He stretched my brain as a creator. He gave me a lot to think about.
During the course of 3 days, when I saw him, I would say hello to him. But when I did, he would always be recording. I was initially a bit cautious but I decided to just relax and go along for the ride.
It's one thing to read or hear about IRL live streaming but it is another thing to be there live and participating first hand. It was a fun, interesting, and a mind-expanding experience for me. I am grateful to @EdVenturesVlog for including me as part of the 3-day experience.

IMPERSONATION WARNING: I've gotten an email & 2 phone calls regarding someone using my Google Voice number & my mattcommand email address. I'm not calling or emailing anyone using either of these contact info. They are secondary contact info meant to screen out unscrupulous or illegitimate people. They are rarely used. If someone is stirring up trouble using my Google Voice number or mattcommand email address, it's not me! I am being impersonated! If there someone is claiming to be MattCommand doing weird things or randomly stirring trouble, please verify it.

In the last 3 years, there has been growing community & viewer interest in learning how to control property tax expenses & engage the property tax appeal process. However, my main channel was never intended to become a property tax channel. Because of growing viewership, increasing book sales amzn.to/3LLAiNW, and YouTube algorithm reasons...
My new channel, TAX FREEZE COMMAND, youtube.com/@taxfreezecommand, was created just to cover specialized property tax topics. As of today, there are 4 new videos uploaded to that new channel. Going forward, any property tax & IRS tax related videos will post on the new channel...

A quick update. I'm working on two book projects that will affect my video posting schedule for the next couple of months. My 1st publishing project is to finish writing my new book before the end of 2023. My 2nd publishing project is to convert one of my Kindle books to a print version in preparation for 2024. I will have more info to share by late November.
