These videos are created to help inform you about aspects of the natural world I want to share with you. They reflect the essence of what I like to convey whilst leading walks and environmental training workshops. As a trained ecologist and International Mountain Leader (IML) I am qualified to guide walks across the UK, Alps and around the mountainous regions of the world. My home is in the mountains of Snowdonia in north Wales but I travel extensively for work. Moschatel is known as the Good Friday flower due to its flowers appearing around Easter. It is a small, musk-scented wildflower. It's often overlooked due to its diminutive size and its colour blends into the woodland carpet.
Each stem bears five flowers, one on the top and one on each of the four side faces of a cube - just like a townhall clock which is what Moschatel is also known by.

It was a privilege to lead a Nord Anglia Education expedition to the roof top of Africa. An ascent of Kilimanjaro is not without its difficulties and challenges but the whole group had a very positive and realistic approach. It was a thoroughly memorable experience for all involved.
