First day photo dump of port Blair.
Tips:
Don’t take cabs from airport just walk outside and book an auto if the place is nearby, for a distance value of Rs 100 we paid Rs 300 instead
Scooter rental should cost under 500 not more than that, make sure you discuss the time duration.
We stayed at LEMON GRASS HOMESTAY, it was decent and good for Rs1400 per day but you can go as per your budget and requirements.
Cons: checkout time is 8 am 😐
THINGS YOU CAN COVER ON DAY 1:
Cellular jail or Kala pani jail
Rs 30 for every ticket
Rs 200 for guided tour (highly recommended)
Rs 300 each for light & sound show, NEED TO BOOK AHEAD, via website, best time is 7:50 pm show or anytime after sundown.
Clock tower in Aberdeen market, not necessarily you need to plan ahead, it is something you will pass during moving around easily
Corbyn’s cove (personally didn’t like it that much) but a good place to just sit (not a sunset point)
For sunset sit around Aberdeen jetty.
