Welcome to Little Wicket Railway! A OO model railway set in the LMS steam era (but visited by locomotives from all eras). I got back into the hobby after a 20 year break and a lot has changed! Very interested in automation, electronics and saving money.

If you're based near Coventry and you like miniatures then the ‪@MiniaturaShow‬ is on this weekend at the Stoneleigh NAEC.

It's predominantly 1:12, 1:24, 1:48 and 1:144 "dolls house" scales, and there's very little in terms of model railways, but the craftsmanship on display is incredible.

I've been working with the organisers for a few years and can honestly say they put their heart and soul into making this a brilliant event for the miniaturist community. It's a very friendly event, lots of small independent traders, miniature makers and exhibitors gathering together to celebrate their hobby.

It's only £8 if you book in advance with free parking on site or a free shuttle bus from Coventry station. Although I believe Saturday tickets are close to selling out.

There's also a Q&A at 4pm on Saturday with three of the makers from the BBCs Marvellous Miniature Workshop (free for ticket holders, but requires booking).
