If you're confused on why this is no longer labeled as The Director's Cut, I've transitioned the channel into a personal storytelling brand. Here's some info on what's to come:
I release a video every other week based around learning to achieve a better quality of life through studying story.
Stories are a huge part of our lives. We interact with them daily through novels, poems, films, videos, and more. Story can be an extremely useful tool when it comes to understanding ourselves and how we can improve our lives. You just have to know how to use it properly and I'm here to show you.
Besides the videos I create on the channel, I host a discord server you're welcome to join and chat with other subscribers in. I also host a book club, extra, weekly video content, and an action and accountability program on my Patreon. I'd love for you to check it out. www.patreon.com/jilloms

Happy New Year! If you're looking to read more this year, join my book club! We read one book a month together and discuss it weekly through calls. This more structured schedule with the book club has helped me and others keep accountable to consistently read every week.
This month we will be going through The Queen's Gambit by Walter Tevis! If you've seen The Queen's Gambit's adaptation on Netflix and enjoyed it, you're sure to enjoy this as well.

December is approaching and that means we're starting a new book! Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche!
If you'd like to join the book club, go here: www.patreon.com/posts/decembers-thus-44447498
I believe these types of books are most rewarding when after you've spent time reading and thinking alone, you approach others to discuss your individual ideas and hopefully gain new insight. So I hope you read along with us :) Our first call is on December 6th!

"Judging other people and saying that person is a bad person. They did this, they did this, they did this...how do we know if we're not in that person's place we wouldn't do the same?
Cause I have a lot of people say about me over the years...fine. The reality is it's what I did. I can't run away from it. It's who I am. That's all. And what I am is up there on the screen."
I'm working on a video all about Martin Scorsese and his integration of Carl Jung's theory of "The Shadow" in his films. Can't wait to share it with you all.

Working on a video based around Little Women's main group of characters and the sacrifices they make for how they choose to live.
I want to know how you view career and family in your ideal future/present.
Feel free to comment other ideal future balances, as I can't list all variations here.

Exciting news! I've started a book club!
We will be reading The Red Book by Carl Jung starting September 1st.
Join here for weekly zoom meetings and a private discord to chat in: www.patreon.com/jilloms
I thought this would be a perfect book to start with because it documents Jung's expedition to seek out his subconscious and in the process shows how we all can form a deeper sense of self.
The Red Book will encourage this new community to remember that self-exploration is a requirement for personal growth.
Reading this alongside others will be extremely rewarding as we will be able to share our own perspectives on subconscious and interpretations of Jung's work.
Documented as one of the most influential books on psychology, The Red Book is sure to change the way we view the mind.
I hope to see you there! :)
