You don’t need the perfect set up to start.
Fact: I’ve been using the same gear since 2015.
And I intend to use this exact set up for a while,
Until it’s absolutely necessary for an upgrade.

Don’t let the lack of the “best equipment”
Stop you from creating, Start where you stand.
Get that ball rolling, and maybe later upgrade!

You can get SO much done with just a phone
Which is wild to think about… it’s about TASTE.
And of course, figuring out ways to maximize it
By studying, showing up, getting your reps in.

Now, there is something to be said about
Starting with good gear off the bat that you
Can eventually “grow into” so to speak.

You can have the best equipment on earth
But if you don’t use it, IT DOESNT MATTER.

It’s clear how I feel about consistency.
But then we have to talk about talent, right?
Being great still matters after all (yes it does)

There’s different types of artists:

A) Those who will wear any and all hats 🧢
DIY to get things done when/how they want.

B) Those out there that isolate their focus 🎯
On their primary talent, rapping for instance.

Is one artists better the other? Well…
That’s subjective, if it’s based on talent alone
We could easily say it’s artist ‘B’ right?

Or is it artist ‘A’ who gets their music out there
Quicker, more consistently, and promotes it?

Let’s just say all you need is talent…
Okay great, now are you going to show up?

Oh — so you’re talented AND you show up!
Okay great, do you have a budget to promote?
Or is a budget even necessary? You tell me

What 10 Years Taught Me (In 10 Minutes)
Firstly, It taught me that consistency is king.
Showing up as much as possible to get reps in.
The journey is a lot longer that way (trust me)
But it’s SO rewarding, because you get to a point
Where you can do is DOLO — 90% of the time.

Though, it is impossible to truly break through
And continuously grow in any line of business
Without a team. Let me be clear, you WON’T
attract the right kind of people to back you up,
If you aren’t willing to put in the work FIRST 💯

My journey isn’t paved with gold, it’s all grind.
