Here’s a little tricky one for all JavaScript devs:

for (var i = 1; i <= 3; i++) {
setTimeout(function() {
console.log(i);
}, 1000);
}

Why?

var is function-scoped, not block-scoped.

The loop finishes before setTimeout runs, so i is 4 for all the callbacks.

Every console.log sees the same i, so it prints 4, 4, 4.


💡 Quick tip: If you change var → let, the output would be 1, 2, 3 because let is block-scoped.
