Toyota still offers four practical new vehicles starting below $30,000: the Corolla, Corolla Cross, Prius, and Camry. All four provide strong fuel economy, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, solid reliability, and good long-term value—but each suits a different buyer.
Corolla: The most affordable option at roughly $23,000, delivering up to an estimated 35 MPG combined. The sedan offers better passenger space, while the hatchback provides more cargo flexibility.
Corolla Cross: Starts below $25,000 and adds an SUV-style seating position, comfortable ride, and greater cargo capacity. It’s a practical alternative for shoppers who don’t need a larger RAV4.
Prius LE: Starts around $28,550 and offers an estimated 57 MPG combined, 194 horsepower, distinctive styling, and surprisingly strong performance.
Camry LE: Starts just under $30,000 and combines an estimated 51 MPG with 225 horsepower, a spacious rear seat, a large trunk, and a comfortable highway ride.
