They’re teaming up with Toyota Motor North America and Hyroad Energy to deploy 40 hydrogen fuel cell semi-trucks in California — one of the largest real-world rollouts we’ve seen yet.
Here’s what stands out:
⛽ ~500 mile range
⚡ 15–20 minute refueling (just like gas/diesel)
💨 Zero emissions — only water vapor
🚛 Built for real logistics use, not just testing
Toyota is basically building the entire ecosystem — trucks, fuel, infrastructure, and software — all at once.
This isn’t just another concept… this is happening NOW.

Toyota Hydrogen Solutions just secured major certifications for their hydrogen fuel cell generators — meaning they’re officially closer to being used across North America.
We’re talking:
