This Plane Crash is honestly the most terrifying thing I’ve ever researched for MayDay Central. I’ve spent days looking at the CVR transcripts, and I still can’t shake off the feeling of what it must have been like in that cockpit.

Most people see a headline and move on, but this is a heart-wrenching True Story of two pilots who refused to give up. Captain Ted Thompson and First Officer Bill Tansky were dealing with a total Disaster that no training manual could have prepared them for. They were literally flying a massive jet upside down over the Pacific, fighting for every single soul on board until the very last second.

I’ve put my heart into this reconstruction to show the side of the story that doesn't make the news. It’s a tribute to their courage and a deep look into the fatal mistake that caused it all.
