I visited you when I was 22 with an open mind, and backpacking through your chaos and colour absolutely blew me away.
But this time, coming through on the bike… I can’t say the same.
The constant rush of busy cities, the smell of p*ss lingering everywhere, people trying to squeeze money out of you at every turn, and the road were just as bad. Cars flying straight at you, near misses almost daily… it’s been exhausting.
After spending three months riding through the Stans with unbelievable hospitality and world-class roads, the past four days here have just drained me.
But I’m not letting it break me. I’m rolling onward into a country I’ve never been to before…
