My new EP “Happy Go Lucky” is dropping on June 13th!
This project is a collection of feel-good, uplifting songs that came when I needed them most. I was so tired of being sad, I started making happy music as an attempt to pick myself up. Essentially, what started as therapy turned into a celebration of joy, love, and friendship!
Some of these tracks have been with me for a long time, including “Cutie Pie” and “Macaroni.” They were shelved and passed on, but I never stopped believing in them. All it took was the right people to help bring out what I always heard.
This song is a personal and high-energy track that was born from a real conversation during a songwriting workshop, where we explored the complexities of narcissistic relationships.
It captures the chaos of manipulation, heartbreak, and the emotional aftermath of being with someone toxic. But at its core, “Kind of Woman” is about the power of reclaiming your sense of self. While the road to healing isn’t easy, you can emerge stronger, wiser, and ready to take on the world!
