Since 2003 Groasis has improved the functionalities of the plant cocoons each year through introducing a new version. The model 2020 - the Waterfilter Boxx® - can even be used to plant trees with sea water that is filtered to fresh water without using energy or needing maintenance.

The plant cocoons are extremely successful and each year we have been able to bring the costs per planted tree down in order to help you reach the best results with the lowest possible costs.

Pieter Hoff is an idealistic entrepreneur who decided in 2003 to actively do something about climate change. He has developed a method of planting trees in the desertified areas of the world. There is a need, a need for reforestation.

Dutch national television 'EenVandaag' publishes an interview with Pieter Hoff. His message is that we need to reforest all degraded areas in the world. Trees can produce food, create employment, restore degraded soil, restore water tables and help combat climate change.
Groasis has the knowledge, technology and the products that make this possible. Plant (fruit) trees with 90% less water, 90% less costs than with regular irrigation and a 90% survival rate.
