🚨⚠️Why are all military vehicles so bad?

This isn't just a butching post I'm seriously curious.
I get that these vehicles are very old and have many complex systems on them that require pretty intense maintenance. However, time and time again I see military vehicles having the same problems over and over. I'm in a maintenance BSB company too, so we aren't neglecting these things.
If civilian vehicles had half the problems military vehicles have here would be class action lawsuits and recalls left and right.
All we have is standard LMTVs and HMMWVs, but I remember the Bradley's and M88s in my last unit also being nightmares
