In case you were wondering if there is gonna be a Wednesday Night Tech Talk Live… I’m gonna be at the Buick Nationals in Bowling Green, KY. BUT! Professor P is powering forward with a Tech Talk Live on his channel Slant Daily Garage. 7pm Central and here is the link!
No Live Tonight… Professor P has contracted this years Election Infection and I’ve got some gears to line up before NNN. Sorry for the late notice, but it’s crunch time!
I’m on the road for a secret AHRA mission this week, so John Wilburn and Shane will be doing a Wednesday Night Live to entertain the folks! Check it out here! https://youtu.be/j5tSQ_QaOiM
What can I say... We had a Family Reunion and a Drag Race Broke Out! @JohnWilburn and I would like to thank each and every participant, sponsor, track operator and staff that made the Inaugural No Name Nationals a hit! There were SO many people from all over the country that put in long nights, time and money they didn't have and exhausting days into this event and the results were nothing short of amazing! This is the group photo taken at the very beginning of the event to capture the amount, diversity and types of vehicles at the event! It was truely amazing from all angles at to how many YouTube Channels and Personalities supported and turned out for this event. The numbers of spectators were not really well captured this entire weekend since many did not even use the grandstands and were busy running around the pits meeting all of the YouTube Personalities and looking over the vehicles they had watched being built over the course of the past 9 months or longer. There were participants that had breakage, parts stuck in black holes and the normal few that could not make it due to the amount of work left to get their rides up and going. Most of those were at the event regardless of the lack of their project vehicle! Tag your Favorite Channel! #nonamenationals@mostlyoldparts
Just as promised on Wednesday Night Tech Talk LIVE, EXTRA No Name Nationals Payouts… $100 for Monkey Bike from You Tube Channel, Fab Race Mod Repeat (Go Give ‘em a Sub) and $100 for 28x10.5 from local Speed Shop, Speed Oasis LLC. You NNN participants are killing it! @JohnWilburn@FabRaceModRepeat
Gary Locke sent this in after the Wednesday night live. In his words, Here is a pic of the drawing I, Devon, referenced in the live stream about the first Buick OHV Engine. Note the roller rockers and lifters.
That’s right! More time on the 1994 F250 fuel system… UGH… can it make it the rest of the season? Who Knows? @ford thanks for the 300K miles so far, these last 30K have been hard. If you feel inclined to throw our lil’ guy sanctioning body a new Hybrid Maverick to test out for a couple of years… We would not complain. Let’s see if we can squeeze out a few more trips.
Wednesday Night LIVE is right around the corner. This week, Shane and I chat with Riley from @rileysrebuilds435 for some enthusiastic young Hot Rodder's inspiration! https://youtu.be/BB1DrtqyZBE
