I named it bloody what cuz it reminds me of my dreams and how I shld never let go and that if I keep going ill get better at it and achieve it some day. I always get teary eyed while making it and it makes me wanna scream "bloody what"

Title: “Why My Sunday Morning Felt Like a Mini Pilgrimage 😭”

So I woke up at 7:00 a.m. — on a Sunday.
Not because I wanted to, but because my mum is the definition of “holy urgency.”

Church starts at 9:30.
It’s literally a 5-minute walk from my house.
So logically, we could leave at like… 9:20, right?

WRONG. 😭

According to my mum’s gospel, “If you’re not 20 minutes early, you’re already late.”
So there I was, dressed, half asleep, sitting in the pew at 9:10, watching the choir test microphones like:

“Mic check, one, two, Jesus loves you.”


Meanwhile, my sister pshe does catechism — was just there looking all proud, like she’s on a mission from God.
And me? I was fighting for my life not to fall asleep before the first hymn.

Then I made the mistake of checking my phone.
My mum gave me that look.
You know that look — the one that says:

“Put that phone away before I baptize it in holy water.” 💀


But here’s the thing, when the service finally started, and the choir started singing, I lowkey felt peace.
Like yeah, I was tired, but maybe waking up early wasn’t that bad… until I remembered we still had to wait for my sis to finish with her things (idk ok don't ask)😭


So yeah, my Sunday morning wasn’t exactly relaxing —
but I guess being 20 minutes early to church is just part of the training for heaven 🕊️

Question: does anyone else's mum treats Sundays like a marathon🤔
