Cowboy and Tyson were awesome for CBHSA equitation medal finals 2025! Tyson brought me 2nd out of 6 in the CBHSA eq Division and we got the call back for a test that was extremely hard for him! Cowboy was awesome in mini stirrup with his lease rider coming 3rd in their division and he placed 3rd out of 10 in the pony classic at a VERY high 2ft! I’m so so pleased and are excited for this weekend! Leaving tomorrow at 10:30 with the ponies!

Well today didn’t go to plan either sadly, in the first class we didn’t place and in the second we got 8th because he spooked twice in the same corner at the poo picking guy on the golf cart because the noise of the shovel scraping against the concrete was really scary. And in the over fences we placed 5th (I don’t have any video because it didn’t save and it wouldn’t have mattered anyway because the video was messed up and didn’t film right) with a few rider errors and my lack of ability to find distances!😭 but he was really good and for the next week when I ride him at home we’re putting ear plugs in to see if he settles better with them and relaxes more which will be interesting. My trainer also said that we may or may not be showing him somewhere else if he isn’t leased out yet but the really exciting news is he may be staying on the property for one of my friends to lease!

Ughhhhh today didn’t go as planned but there’s always tomorrow!! We didn’t place in the first under saddle (which I should’ve but the judge hated us), 7th in the second under saddle, and 5th over fences. He was a bit sore today and his belly was bothering him a bit so after we left my trainer gave him some molasses, grain, his lubricen, and a bit of alfalfa mixed with water in a bucket so he settles down and to get him a bit happier. Unfortunately that does mean more scrubbing and cleaning for me because he had alfalfa and likes to get his legs and butt dirty but if it makes him happy I’m happy. I will be posting a long form voice over of my trips this weekend if anyone wants me too!!
