Near the end of 2021, I began experiencing some unpleasant symptoms that led me to go seek a doctor, and after a couple of tests, I was finally diagnosed with a disorder called Gastroparesis, in February of last year.
"Gastroparesis is a condition that affects the normal spontaneous movement of the muscles (motility) in your stomach. Ordinarily, strong muscular contractions propel food through your digestive tract. But if you have gastroparesis, your stomach's motility is slowed down or doesn't work at all, preventing your stomach from emptying properly."
There is no known cure for Gastroparesis currently, but some may experience periods of remission and relapse.
A bit about my experience with GP:
I was diagnosed with Idiopathic gastroparesis, meaning the cause of it is unknown.
It's definitely been a struggle, both physically and mentally for me at times. The symptoms I deal with are both bloating and nausea, which can range in severity, especially when it comes to nausea. I have my good days, my slightly symptomatic days which are annoying but still tolerable, and then the occasional times when my nausea becomes more severe, where it really makes it impossible to do anything.
Aside from the symptoms, one very big challenge for me has been when it comes to food.
There are many things that you shouldn't eat when you have Gastroparesis. Having to cut out quite a lot of food from my diet was and is still really hard. For the foods that those with Gastroparesis (GP for short) can eat, those foods still might trigger symptoms for GPers (aka those with Gastroparesis). What triggers symptoms for one GPer, might not trigger symptoms for another GPer. So, it really is a solo challenge for me, to slowly incorporate foods to see if they'll trigger symptoms or not. I really miss the freedom of being able to eat what I want, when I want, and how much I want.

Note to some channels / editors: Stop posting other editors videos as claiming it as your own! I speak for MOST (if not all) editors that we DO NOT want our videos re-uploaded to YOUR OWN channels! Whether you upload the entire edit, music, scenes and all; whether it's a different song but all the same scenes and effects, STOP IT! We spend hours of our own time, which we enjoy spending, making these videos. For ourselves. And to share out for others to watch if they'd like. We don't post them just for you to download it for your own channel and use. There's PLENTY of accounts with scene packs, and content out there that y'all can use to make your edits with. If we can do that, then surely you can do so also. If you don't know where to go to for those resources, just ask an editor where you can find them and I'm sure they'd be happy to help you out if they can! Just please.. please stop taking other people's edits and claiming them as your own. Also, some editors do not want their edits re-uploaded EVEN if you give them credit. Some people simply do not want their videos re-posted by anyone. If that's the case, again, don't re-post them.
