❁ 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 ✨️
Yukari Haname was born into a quiet family of incense artisans near Kyoto, where scent was not decoration but ritual—used in temples, funerals, and purification. From childhood, she literally learned how air carries presence, how movement makes something uhm linger, and how stillness can often mislead.

During a seasonal festival, a demon attacked her town. The incense shop was destroyed, and Yukari lost her parents that night. A passing Hashira (Kanae actually) arrived too late—but noticed something rare: despite fear, Yukari remained composed, guiding others to safety by instinctively reading air, sound, and space. She took Yukari in and trained her.

Yukari trained under Flower Breathing under Kanae, but lacking brute strength, she refined a style suited to her nature. Inspired by the way incense drifts and overlaps, she created Fragrance Breathing—a discipline of perception, misdirection, and quiet precision. (Fancy words lol)

After repeatedly ending missions with minimal damage and taking down over fifty demons, she was formally acknowledged as the Fragrance Hashira.

❁ 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐬 & 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 💕
She wears a fitted black Demon Slayer uniform (as others ofc) beneath a flowing haori that fades from soft ivory (ig the image didn't quite catch it) to blush pink, embroidered with faint floral patterns only visible in light. The edges are traced with thin gold lining, sleeves long and you know, airy-like, moving like drifting silk.

Her Nichirin sword is slender and slightly curved, its blade a muted rose-silver.

Yukari's hair is long and glossy, styled half-up with a thin silk ribbon, the rest falling freely down her back. Two delicate strands frame her face, and a small silver hairpin rests off-center (Idk why Gemini made the hairpin like that). Her eyes are almond-shaped, softly downturned, usually half-lidded—calm, distant, unreadable. Yeah, a poker face maybe.

❁ 𝐅𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 — 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 🎀
Her movements leave behind translucent, ribbon-like scent trails—pale pearl and soft pink—curling and overlapping in the air. These trails linger briefly, creating a layered battlefield that confuses distance and timing.

She never rushes. Her blade circles, arcs, and glides, forcing demons to strike at false openings. When they hesitate or overextend, she steps through the drifting trails and delivers a single, clean cut.

Her fights appear mostly like calm and quiet. (I like minimal chaos tho)

❁ 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 & 𝐕𝐢𝐛𝐞 🩷
Yukari speaks softly and rarely raises her voice. Even among Hashiras, her presence feels subtle but unsettling.
Her personally is calm and observant type.

Okay, so I literally know she looks a lot like Kanae but idk how it turned out like this. Maybe my instructions were unclear. But anyways, I love her Breathing style. It's actually inspired by flower Breathing as I love the grace and beauty of that Breathing. Do tell me how is our Fragrance Hashira. Do u guys like the story? Tell me in comments. 💜
