Did you know that how your child breathes can shape their growth?

Studies show that children who breathe mostly through their mouth are more likely to develop changes in their face and teeth, like a longer face, a narrower jaw, or a higher palate. Mouth breathing is also linked to poor sleep, daytime tiredness, mood swings, and trouble focusing. Helping your child breathe through their nose whenever possible supports healthier growth, better sleep, and long-term wellbeing.

El Hamdani et al., Basic and Applied Sciences Journal (2022) – Narrower airway and higher palate in mouth-breathing children.

Sutjiadi et al., Int. J. Pediatr. Otorhinolaryngol. (2024) – Mouth breathers had 4× higher risk of sleep-disordered breathing.
