What a place.. what a place.. that no matter how many times I come here, it never feels enough. There’s always something new to soak in, something deeper to experience.
I feel fortunate to be able to keep returning to this place that now feels like home. It sort of recharges me and reminds me why I do what I do…. why my sadhana and teaching classical hatha yoga matter so deeply.
Here, everywhere you look, someone is immersed in their practice. It creates a living ecosystem of devotion, a reminder that at the heart of it all, the most important thing is your sadhana.
Until I return again in a few months…
Thank you for reading and supporting this journey, Rubika 💕
A place where Lord Rama’s journey still breathes in the air, this is where Lord Rama built a bridge to Lanka to rescue Maa Sita, Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu 🍀

Hua yun… that mom wanted to go to #Mahakumbh. She had previously also been to #Kumbh. But wasn’t sure how. She started making plans with family friends, along with my father. But since my brother’s marriage was around the corner, my father had second thoughts. I told them that even if you aren’t going, I will go this time & come in 2-3 days. Bas, my mother got the needed encouragement and concretised the plan.
We stayed at Sector 23 tents at Arail Ghat. The tents were neat and tidy & were so well organised. Even if the crowd was there on 11th, 12th Feb, it was very well managed. There wasn’t any stampede sort of situation from what I saw.
We took the boat from Arail ghat to sangam on both 11th and 12th Feb and did snan on both these days.
There was sufficient space in Sangam and post snan, I changed my clothes in the tents that government had put up for changing.
And then, we returned through our boat, enjoying the currents of water and bird watching.
Agar abhi bhi jane ka soch rahein hain aap, toh zaroor jayen. Nahi toh kisi bhi 2 river ke sangam mein snan kar lijiye as Sadhguru mentioned of what you can do if you cannot go to Prayag.
Post our snan and breakfast on 12th Feb, we left for #Kashi through our car. There wasn’t much traffic on the way, but Kashi #Vishwanath Dham ke liye bohot bheed thi. Subah subah darshan karne nikal jana chahiye aapko. Before going to the temple, we took snan in #Dashashwamedh ghat by taking a boat and then stood in corridor queue for the darshan. Vahan humein Naga Sadhu bhi mile, who had come back from Kumbh.
Post the darshan, we left for Ayodhya, and just 54km before Ayodhya, we encountered a massive jam and were stuck there for 24 hours. Abhi Tak Mahakumbh chal raha hai, pata nahi chala. But ab pata chala. Police wasn’t letting people go to Ayodhya and were managing traffic so that there is no stampede at Ram Janmabhumi. Once we reached Ayodhya, darshan happened quickly. Seeing the temple being constructed, and Ram Lalla, we all got so emotional. A moment we didn’t realise we all were waiting for.
What a life time experience it was! Did you go to Mahakumbh yet?

Sadhana happens, no matter the travel.
Here you will see Ladakh’s Changthang region in background. So scenic that it’s almost unbelievable at times. Raw, peaceful, serene, spiritual ♥️
