Do you ever look at your planner stack and think… how did we get here? 😂📚
If you could organize most of your life in ONE book, what would absolutely need to live inside it? 👀
Your schedule? Notes & lists? Goals? Memory keeping? Projects? A little bit of everything?
I have a feeling our answers are going to be very different—and that's kind of the point. "One book" doesn't have to mean one way or nothing.
And if you want to see what this experiment looks like for me, this week’s video is “Organizing my entire life in one book | Chat 🌛.” https://youtu.be/CHcIfKX_4AE
I realized how important it is to have one main catch-all planner to serve as a summary and archive of my entire year, even if I still use other planners for specific tasks (as a hybrid system).
After all the waiting, did you find the one, or are you still deciding?
Personally, I haven’t found a design I’m 100% in love with yet. But I’m keeping an open mind until I can see everything in person at @Yoseka in New York within the next few weeks. ( 😁 I am so excited! )
Sometimes the colors, textures, and little details feel completely different in person, so fingers crossed I find the one...
The official Hobonichi store opens September 1st at 11 a.m. Japan time—August 31 at 10 p.m. Eastern. Here is their official webpage: www.1101.com/
"Before buying, take another look at what you actually need your planner to do, not only which cover catches your eye." 🤍 Just sharing an inner "mantra" I've been repeating to myself lately, to ensure I go for what really serves me.
I will be sharing more videos about new planners, brainstorming possibilities, and my behind-the-scenes planner-season thoughts. Members will also get additional chats and details along the way, so if you enjoy our more personal stationery conversations, I would love to have you join us! ✨ youtube.com/channel/UCj9QChqf0iROkFSG_QNoMPA/join
Planner season is one of my favorites. I think it is the best opportunity to clarify what I want vs what I need.
Here are a few questions I used to help me with the "thinking on paper" process
✍️What worked this year? ✍️What didn’t? ✍️What do I keep wishing my planner could do? ✍️What has officially become a non-negotiable?
Do you brainstorm first, make lists, compare options… or just know when you see the one? 😂
If you’re still figuring out your own 2027 system. Today's video is about a simple method that could be helpful in the process. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/kmjjqyUEhzc
For me, it immediately reminded me of my son and his bunny, his little buddy that's been with him since the day he was born. 🥰
It's amazing how a planner cover can bring back memories that have nothing to do with planning and everything to do with the people we love.
I highly recommend checking out today's feature from Hobonichi and learning more about the artist and the inspiration behind the cover. It is beautiful!
I've been working on something new, and I'm so excited to finally share an initial edition with you.
Today I'm releasing the very first issue of The Nomad Edit, a new reflection magazine for our community. ✨📖
This isn't a planner catalog or another checklist to complete.
Instead, it's a space to slow down, reflect, and enjoy planner season with a little more intention.
In this first Planner Season Edition, I wanted to focus on exploring what our current planner is already teaching us before deciding what comes next. There are reflection prompts, journaling space, and simple questions to help discover what truly supports our planning style.
This is also a little experiment. 💛
I'd love for you to flip through it and let me know what you think.
I'd especially love to hear: 🌿 What was your favorite page? 🌿 Did anything make you stop and reflect? 🌿 What would you love to see in future issues? 🌿 Would you enjoy this becoming a regular member perk?
Your feedback will help shape where The Nomad Edit goes from here, and I'm so grateful that you're the first people I get to share it with.
