Unfortunately there will be no Tangle Tuesday this fortnight (17.6.2025). In fact, Tangle Tuesdays in general may evolve into something new from now on. I feel that some artists, including myself, feel that we are locked into creating a particular style of art. We become ‘known’ for creating a certain way, or making a certain thing, which leaves no room to explore any other form of creativity because we believe that we are expected to only create that particular way in order to gain likes and/or followers. Most people who are familiar with my creativity know that I often change my style. I love to dabble in all forms of creativity and I always create for my own therapeutic purposes. But I also love to inspire creativity in others and show people how it’s done. Which is why I chop and change from book binding to mandalas, to zentangles to jewellery, to crochet to making ATC’s, and so on and so forth. You name it, I’ve probably dabbled in it! What I’d like to do, moving forward, is just try and create a video each fortnight that simply focuses on whatever creative whim I am on at the time. As I said, I create for my own mental health reasons, but I just love to share it with you, whether you like it or not! Haha! But I hope you’ll stick with me, and join in on the creative adventure that unfolds on a fortnightly basis now. I always appreciate the support you all give me.”, so thank you to everyone who’s stuck by me all these years. Knowing that I’ve inspired even just a few of you makes me incredible happy. ♥️

With a full time job, life, art teaching on the side and releasing Tangle Tuesday once a fortnight, I’m afraid I was 100% overly ambitious in thinking I could keep it up for the whole year. So, unfortunately, A Tangle a Day will not be continuing. However, I will aim to release a video each week with a slower version of a tangle to work on, and of course Tangle Tuesday will still be released every fortnight. Due to working full time in retail, and pretty much every day right up until Christmas now, unfortunately there will be no #tangletuesday for the next couple of weeks. I have scheduled some time off over New Year to catch up on projects, so you’ll see the next Tangle Tuesday on December 31st! I’m excited to end 2024 with another Tangle Tuesday and have got some exciting plans for 2025!
