The new Chaos Warriors coming to Old World make me look back at the recipes from the old Slaves to Darkness tutorial. Thinking of painting some for either a course or a YouTube tutorial, would you guys be interested in that?
Now for the last category of the Black Chalice Round 2 Competition - the Open Category! This category was meant as a little Wild West, to encourage strange works that don't really fit into the other categories.

It's been a while since we posted anything Mordheim, so I think it's good to remember this awesome series that literally saved the Grimdark Compendium back in the day.
The passion and dedication of @dark_ages_workshop make it a one-of-a-kind Mordheim experience, and probably the best Mordheim tutorial series on the internet.
If you have a membership on our website, I highly recommend checking this series out. You can also get it via our "Learn/Master Grimdark" bundles or Bundle Builder.

Here we explore one of the more overlooked aspects of miniature painting… basing.
We often spend hours painting our miniatures to a high standard, only to place them on a base with a little texture and a few grass tufts. But the base is more than just something the model stands on; it’s what grounds the miniature in its environment.
A well-designed base gives the model context and character. It helps tell a story and ties all the weathering and paint effects together in a believable way. Dust, mud, rust, and ash: these elements should reflect the world your miniature exists in.
In this guide, we’ll explore some simple products and techniques to build and paint a Martian-style base. While the focus is on creating a red, dusty alien landscape, the same principles and methods can easily be adapted to other environments and themes.
