So, I did a thing! Here is my 2nd real attempt on making a quilt. This quilt is a lap quilt for a baby girl and her mother to cover up with when it gets cold or just because. I was inspired to make this quilt non-traditionally by the original Gee’s Bend Quilt ladies. Their quilts were done mostly by hand (I’m not that girl yet 🤣). Their quilts are amazing and the part I love the most about their quilts, is the fact that they didn’t have rules or followed any traditional quilting laws.
