Ben's Bible Study
I enjoy reading the Bible and talking about it. I'm far from perfect - as Paul put it, I possess 'no righteousness of my own, from the law, but that which comes through faith in Jesus.' But I join with Paul in "forgetting what is is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward by Christ Jesus."
I live in Northern New Mexico, in a tiny town named Chama. I hang out with other people who are living in relationship with Jesus at Open Door "church" in Pagosa Springs, CO. I meet with several other believers for Bible Study at the Candelaria Mundy Ranch, on the East side of US-84, a few miles south of Chama (think "tree farm.") Reach out if you'd like to join us.

Howdy y'all! I hope everyone is having a great week. I am really sorry for the missing videos this week. I know I mentioned last Friday that the videos would resume Tuesday, but I needed an extra day off following an accident (I'm okay - just a few abrasions/contusions - but it sounds like the bike is totaled) on Sunday evening. I was planning to make a video last night, but I accidentally left the extra phone at work, and I haven't brought a paper/ink bible to Santa Fe yet. I'll make sure I have the extra phone at home this evening, so I'll be resuming with 2 Kings 5. God bless all of you!

Howdy y'all, and Happy Friyay!! :) So... about that video last night... I left my extra phone at the office on accident, and I haven't quite figured out how to record videos and read from a single phone (and I didn't have a hard-copy Bible with me, though I have plenty at home). I'll need to bring one back with me, so I'll have one here, just in case.
Anyway, I'm going to take a short break from recording videos. I plan to resume August 4, 2025. Thank you for all of your prayers and support. You all mean so much to me! God bless each and every one of you!

Good afternoon, all. I mentioned this at the end of the last video (1 Samuel 31), but in case you didn't see it, I am taking a hiatus for the next week, as I'll be in Santa Fe for a day, and then I'm headed home for a family get-together ("Cousin's Camp" for all my nieces and nephews). I plan to resume Ben's Bible Study on Wednesday or Thursday next week (May 28 or 29, 2025), reading from 2 Samuel 1.
