Hey there! This is our Youtube channel focused primarily on gaming projects.

Ácido Cinza

Despite having met the criteria for monetization for a month, Youtube still hasn't sent me a notice about allowing the option for viewers. I don't exactly plan on just doing videos for money, but since I can't neglect my job, that's the only reason I haven't made something new in a while.

(Regardless, absolutely still appreciate all the support on the documentary - with only word of mouth and organic growth it got the channel to monetization requirements as well as hitting 10k with no ads whatsoever!).

A lot of subscribers have arrived since the documentary (the panel tells me 165 - that's a lot). I'm aware I need to give a pound of flesh to the gods of algorithm every week or so as to not get my channel deemphasized, but I've never been a religious man.

I'd like to hear from you - not necessarily just the new subs no less - what sort of content you'd like to see when I get time, no less. Of course, stuff like the Splatterhouse documentary takes many months, but I figure I can follow it up with a short and sweet video recounting my own experience with the franchise so the channel doesn't fall into limbo again.

And since I can't live off Splatterhouse forever (though I wouldn't mind!), would you guys also be interested at looks into other lesser known old games? Not necessarily deep dives, but enough curiosities like version differences and such.

Besides that, I'm developing a horror-flavored action game for the time being, so if that's interesting to you, you can also look forward to it.

Thank you all again for your support!

The same place can look a many ways different. These are all Splatterhouse's West Mansion - art for Arcade, PC-Engine and FM Towns.
The FM Towns' port draws it more like a Schloss, which is halfway between a castle and a mansion, even!

I'm pleasantly surprised with the turnout on the documentary - I didn't have any outreach and there's been no big report at any large outlet so far, so all of this was completely organic.
Thank you for you support!

Nope, haven't forgotten about the Splatterhouse documentary. Hit a snag with some rendering issues, so was amending those and fleshing out some other bits. A little extra will include a Timeline making sense of the game's events with all info we have so far, including developer comments.

We're looking at a little over 1 hour runtime, but the documentary is like 95% done.
Do you want developer commentary on the Arcade? You have it.
Do you want developer commentary on the sequels? You have it.
Do you want to know what stalled the PC Engine port? You also have that.
Do you want to know where Jennifer's name came from? You have that too.
Do you want to know what Rick's pixel art originally looked like? Sir yes sir.
Do you want to know the average timeframe when the LCD game came out? DO I HAVE A DEAL FOR YOU!

EXPECT IT! Sometime soon.

You'd be surprised where doing a documentary on an '80s gaming horror franchise can take you, I'll tell you that much

In a different timeline, Friday the 13th on the NES was a smash hit, leading to multiple revisions. Can you imagine that world?
