I take viewers with me on long voyages, port days, international trips, and travels closer to home. My journeys have included a 133-day Grand World Voyage, Antarctica, South America, the South Pacific, Asia, Alaska, the Caribbean, and destinations throughout Florida.

I am Jonathan, a retired Washington, D.C. police sergeant. I travel to discover new places, learn how people live, and share what I saw and experienced.

We’re home! 🚢🌍
We just returned from an incredible cruise through Quebec City, Halifax, New York City, and Boston. I’m now sorting through all the footage, photos, and travel memories to share with you.
But we won’t be home for long! Our next adventure will take us to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Norway, and London.

For four days, I watched humpback whales surface beside the ship, thousands of penguins go about their daily lives, and towering icebergs drift through some of the most remote waters on Earth.

Hey everyone
Update from the ship and a quick note on why uploads have been lighter lately
We’ve been moving fast through ports, almost every day or every other day, which has meant most of my time has been focused on getting off the ship, filming on location, and capturing as much as possible while we’re there. By the time I’m back onboard, it’s usually straight into getting ready for the next stop
That pace has been great for content, but it hasn’t left much room for editing. I’ve got a solid amount of footage stacked up from this stretch of travel that I haven’t had time to work through yet
The next window is the Pacific Ocean crossing, and that’s where I’ll finally be able to catch up on some editing, organize everything, and start rolling out a lot of what’s been filmed along the way
After that, Alaska is up next, and that’s shaping up to be a full-on filming run with new content every day once we arrive
Appreciate everyone following along while things have been a bit behind on uploads. There’s a lot in the pipeline, just need the time to bring it all together

I want to say a quick thank you to everyone who has watched the Recife and Historic Olinda by cruise video and taken the time to leave thoughtful comments.
I realized after publishing that parts of the audio are not up to the standard I expect for this channel. That is on me. I am currently working on correcting the sound so the experience feels more natural and easier to follow.
Recife and Olinda deserve to be heard as clearly as they are seen, and I appreciate your patience while I make it right.

Our next stop on the 133 day Grand World Voyage takes us to Recife, Brazil, and into the hills of Historic Olinda. We step off the ship and move straight into a city shaped by water, bridges, color, and daily life. Then the road climbs into Olinda, where colonial buildings, tiled facades, and wide coastal views begin to unfold.
This one is about contrast. Busy streets and quiet corners. Urban energy and historic depth. You see what is actually there. The architecture. The elevation. The rhythm of the day as it happened.

Our first stop on the 133 day Grand World Cruise was Barbados.
After days at sea, it felt good to step onto solid ground and take in the color, warmth, and rhythm of the island. This video captures that first port moment, walking through town, seeing the shoreline, and easing into what this long journey might become.
