I haven't been able to upload for quite some time due to personal reasons.
Not being a full-time YouTuber, I sometimes get flooded with work, with little time to edit. And I'm sorry to my beloved subscribers for that.
But it's about time to start again!
Starting this Friday (July 18th), there will be new videos coming out once again.
Thank you for all of you, who have been patiently waiting for me to make a comeback.
Next time, I will be seeing you with a video, not a post.
찾아보니 첫 영상을 업로드 했던게 지난 19년 3월 15일이었네요. 무려 일수로 2132일, 개월수로 71개월, 햇수로 7년입니다.
누구보다도 느리게, 거북이처럼 엉금엉금 기어왔는데도 많은 시간이 쌓이고 나니 1만 구독자가 되기는 되는군요 하하
다양한 장르의(특히 재즈, 클래식, 락) 음악을 듣는 것을 좋아하고, 또 그 비하인드 스토리나 이론, 역사적인 부분들에 관심이 항상 많았습니다. 그리고 그것을 많은 분들과 함께 나누고 싶어서 시작한 것이 바로 이 유튜브 입니다. 사실 제 주변에는 재즈, 락, 클래식을 즐겨 듣는 사람들이 거의 없거든요.(비주류 장르의 서러움...) 그래서 제가 영상을 만들어 올리면서도 댓글을 통해 좋은 곡 추천도 많이 받고, 음악적으로도 많이 배웁니다.
저는 전업 유튜버도, 음악 전문가도 아니고, 그저 한 명의 '음악 애호가'일 뿐이지만.
그렇기 때문에 더더욱 큰 성과를 기대하기 보다는 꾸준함을 바탕으로 앞으로도 천천히 나아가고자 합니다.

At last, we reached a 10k subscribers milestone!
My first viedo was uploaded on May 15th, 2019.
2,132 days, which is 71 months, so almost 7 years since then. It feels like this channel has been growing like a turtle, and yet it reached 10k already 😂
My hobby is listening to music of various fields (especially jazz, classic and rock), and I've always been interested in the 'behind the scenes' stuff, such as theories and histories.
Plus there are not a lot of people around me that share my interests, as these are not that major thing as a hobby.
That must be why I get the chance to get good recommendations on new songs and learn new things through your comments, though I'm the one posting the videos.
I'm not a professional Youtuber or musician. I'm just a simple music enthusiast.
That is why I look forward to continue step by step, rather than aiming for anything too high.

이 '음악썰방 채널'이 퇴근하고 틈틈히 만들어 업로드 하는 채널이다보니 업로드 주기도 불안정하고, 컨텐츠도 미흡한 점이 많아서 늘 아쉽습니다.
저부터가 음악 감상 스타일이 워낙 잡식성입니다.
그러다보니 이 채널도 장르에 구애받지 않고 그냥 하고 싶은 음악 이야기, 소개하고 싶은 아티스트들과 명곡들을 올리게 되었고 어느순간 좀 난잡해진 느낌이 있네요.
그래도 당분간은 그대로 유지해보고자 합니다. 말 그대로 그냥 제가 좋아서 하는 채널이니까요 ㅎㅎ
올해에도 팝, 락, 재즈 그리고 클래식의 4가지 장르를 메인으로 삼아 여러 썰들을 풀어보도록 하겠습니다.
그 외에도 제가 개인적으로 좋아하는 앨범이나 플레이 리스트들을 소개하는 시간도 가져보고 싶네요.

It's already the Lunar New Year of 2024.
I hope all of you have a happy holiday, with lots of delicious food to enjoy : )
This 'JL Music Tea' is being created between my jobs, mostly after work.
Therefore the uploading is not that regular, and the contents have rooms to be improved too.
Plus my taste in music is quite mixed.
Naturally this channel became a mixture of my favorite songs, artists and their stories regardless of their genres, and it became a bit unorganized.
Still, I'm planning to play it out as it is, for it's really what I do because I want to.
This year will be packed with many interesting stories to tell as well, mainly about pop, rock, jazz and classics. Perhaps my personal picks of albums or playlists may be added in the mix.
I hope each and every one of you a splended year!

We decided to erase all videos related to Ear Training in order to keep our channel in theme - jazz and fun stories about music.
However your views, comments and overall support on Ear Training have been a huge force to keep our channel going.
And so we decided to open a new channel dedicated to Ear Training and archive the previous ones there.
Due to YouTube regulations we cannot upload more than 10 vids per day, so previous Ear Training vids will be moved 10 by 10 each day.
We promise to put more efforts and create more high-quality contents for you to study with.
