You might recall on the last Thursday Check-In, I alluded to having some tricks up my sleeve. Because I stuck to a flexible, light schedule these past few weeks I was able to record in-depth readings for all the collectives in a non-stressful way. As you all know, in-depth readings are my preference. The fact I was able to read at my leisure...it was wonderful 😊 Strongly indicating that my energy is back on form or very nearly. I even had a few light sessions at the gym (yoga, elliptical, toning, sauna) and had to stop because I was tempted to push on my runner's high. Again, just feeling better.

These in-depth readings were a delight to record and I want to reassure you (because I know some of you worry) I did not in any way overexert myself. I got back to it because I was ready to get back to it.

At this point in time, I anticipate a Sunday Check-In on 9/28 and hopefully marking the return of our regular schedule. Thank you all so much for being patient and kind. When people care authentically, it shows authentically.

There will be no Thursday Check-In tomorrow. I had recorded half of the messages yesterday afternoon when I started to feel unwell. I put the cards away determined to pick up where I had left off but felt decidedly worse this morning. While I will be seeing my physician soon, I am certain stress is playing into whatever I am currently experiencing. I will not be surprised if I am given the recommendation for time off. I don't want you all to be surprised so I am giving you the heads up. 

As I often say "you can set your watch by me," and I know some of you will be concerned by the lack of timely messages. Please know I am looking after myself. Sassy Scorpion Tarot

Hello Everyone,
I have frustrating news to share.
My most recent video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVB3h...
was age-restricted due to reasons of "sex and nudity policy" violation. The timestamps provided as proof of this policy violation are literally just the tarot cards from the same deck (Golden Art Nouveau Tarot www.amazon.com/dp/0738763462?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_con…) I have used for years. One so-called proof was indicated at timestamp 5:34 showing The World card, and another at 9:45 indicating The Devil card.

Tarot cards have traditionally contained some mild nudity such as the display of breasts, legs, and torsos. Some tarot decks are deliberately sexualized in their depictions, I've used those types of decks plenty of times and without an issue. In this message from 8/21, I am using a standard issue tarot deck (linked above). Again, I've used this particular deck for years and never had a problem until now. Thanks to automated moderation systems, over-censorship on YouTube has increased, yes. Regardless, I do not have time for this. I have made an appeal and it was rejected. The restriction label remains. Unless I'm willing to edit out all the natural nudity in tarot - I'm not - and reupload a 4-hour message that will essentially make the 8/21 video a tarot Swiss cheese message, then the restriction label must remain.

Keep in mind, all my content is pre-selected as "not for kids." For that reason alone this age-restriction violation should not be an issue. All my channel settings are set appropriately to an adult audience.

If you click on this link right now, you will receive a warning about age restricted material before being allowed to view the video. To start, that's annoying but also gives people the impression of something being very wrong with my content when it's just a standard tarot reading. How this affects me: ad revenue. Keep in mind I do not charge for channel memberships. I do not charge for extended messages. I charge viewers nothing for my content. I am compensated for my time via YouTube ads, and my audience is sometimes generous by giving super thanks or a donation.

Let's talk tape: Do I need to tape up my cards (like shown) as so many other readers before me have done? Do I need to purchase a bunch of non-traditional decks that are censored to the max, but hey, no unsightly breasts are present? The age-restriction label would have been warranted had my settings been set to an underage audience but they are not. I have gone above and beyond compliancy concerning YouTube's many restrictions. Example:

Intimate Tarot was originally called Sexual Tarot — and it was fine — until one day I was demonetized for all content with the word "sex" in the title. So, Intimate Tarot was created. Okay, it was a simple compromise. But now we are talking about the censorship of tarot decks, the very thing meant to be shown in my work. Literally, tarot is why I'm here on YouTube. I repeat: I do not have time for this. I do not have time to painstakingly make this content and then deal with the additional stress of maybe — or maybe not — being ad-restricted because somebody somewhere may tune in and potentially be offended by barely (and I mean, barely) visible breasts. So what's it to be? Tape up the cards or use sex-neutral decks? Tarot has only been around since the mid-15th century, but yeah, let's get all weird about it now.

The Sunday Check-In will run as is. If the age-restriction pops up again, I want you all to be aware. This age-restriction notice is arbitrary and obscure, I have not had time to make adjustments to my decks or get new ones so I am left running the SCI, and even a few in-depth readings for Monday, as they are. I am prepared to make some changes for future recordings but this age-restriction verdict cannot become a regular occurrence. I love what time I get to spend with Sassy Fam and it would break my heart for that to change so I am willing to make some alterations but I need to be compensated too. I know my worth, that is not a feature I am willing to compromise.

I clearly got hit by automated moderation systems that are overly sensitive. I understand its purpose, however, focusing on blurry breasts in a tarot card is not one of them. Personally, I've shown more cleavage 🍈🍈 than some of these cards 🦂

M.P. was (is) a loving grandfather and a very supportive influence in my life. I am in a space of mourning as I show love and presence to this man's outstanding foundation of family, friends, and community.

Hey Sassy Fam,
The Thursday Check-In is stuck in "checks still running" YouTube limbo. I prompted upload yesterday afternoon, you can imagine I am frustrated. Massively delayed "checks still running" issues do happen from time to time but nonetheless remains...frustrating. I am going to give it a bit more time and then I will make decisions accordingly. The only feedback ever received by YouTube is to just wait. Reuploading is an option but there are no guarantees that I won't have the same issue, and more hours will have been invested trying to find out. If my content is lagging this badly, others are too.

Sassy Scorpion Tarot

Hello Sassy Fam,
Change of plans for the Thursday Check-In release. No worries! It's still happening 😄
I was too ambitious (Capricorn mid-heaven over here 🙋🏼‍♀️) and I over clarified everyone's reading 😏
I realized it would be ridiculous to upload one massive file.

Naturally, I concluded that all signs should get their own separate reading on Thursday. Each sign's message will include my standard check-in talk (my usual Thursday intro babble) and then their sign's reading, which are almost all in-depth: half or more of the baseline is clarified.

What can I say? I was trained for, and practiced, in-depth readings, and did so for years. In a sense, brief readings are still kind of alien 👽 to me. While reading for clients or the camera, I can still get lost in the process with no particular mind for the clock.

Maybe count tomorrow's round as an unplanned bonus? 😊
Don't forget to tip your reader i.e. hit the "like" button 👍❤️ on your message tomorrow. The algorithm is being a dismissive avoidant lover again.
