Recently went to Kathmandu to have a darshan of Mahadev Pashupatinath. There I had the opportunity to visit this temple of Prabhu Shri Jal Narayan or Budha Neelkanth. Though I am unaware of why Lord Narayan is named Neelkanth here, I was pleasantly surprised and mesmerized by the beauty, sirinity and vastness of this sleeping Vishnu idol. Just a glimpse of Him sleeping peacefully was so calming as if He was radiating the message " Don't worry, I am here to calm you in everything turbulent"... Om namo Narayanaya..

Nabajouban Darshan, also known as Netrotsav, is a significant ritual at the Jagannath Temple in Puri, where the deities are presented in their youthful form after a period of illness following the Snana Yatra (bathing ritual). This year, Nabajouban Darshan is scheduled for June 26th, the day before the Rath Yatra. Devotees will gather to witness the deities' return to health and their youthful appearance, a prelude to the annual Rath Yatra.
