💥 About Me 💥
I studied Mechanical Engineering at Boston University / Tsinghua University (not a dropout surprise surprise) and worked on next-generation iPhones in the consumer electronics industry. Thanks for stopping by : )
Engineering Gone Wild
Even with robust designs, precise tolerances, and fully validated prototypes, products can still fail at multiple stages, from never reaching production to underperforming in the market.
Data shows that roughly 70% of product concepts never reach production, and 95% fail commercially.
In my latest video, I break down the nine stages of product development, showing where design, engineering, and business misalignment cause failure, and how mechanical engineers can ensure manufacturability, performance, and market success.

Hey everyone! I wanted to share something exciting with you all—We’ve just launched a new tech channel 🎉
As a mechanical engineer, I’ve had the chance to work on some pretty cool consumer electronics, and I’ve always been passionate about tech. So, I thought, why not combine my experience with my love for gadgets and start a channel dedicated to all things tech? From laptops to productivity tools, I’ll be sharing honest reviews and insights (with a little engineering perspective thrown in 😉)
If you’re into tech or just curious, I’d love for you to check it out and join us on this new journey! Of course, we’ll still be uploading here, so nothing’s changing on this channel. Videos on the tech channel might be a bit less frequent at first while we’re still planning content and getting things rolling.

Engineering has taught me many important lessons in life:
1️⃣Be mentally tough and persistent.
2️⃣Keep an open mind.
3️⃣Work in a team not in silos.
4️⃣Believe in yourself.
5️⃣Never overlook anything - The devil is in the details.
6️⃣Only results matter.
7️⃣Soft skills are just as important, if not more important, than technical skills.
8️⃣Don’t compare yourself to others.
9️⃣Never stop learning.
Out of all these lessons, the most important one is health💚
Health is everything—not only physical but also mental. As engineers, we spend countless hours at our desks, deep in CAD models, programming, or stuck in meetings. It’s easy to fall into the trap of a sedentary lifestyle, and I’ve seen too many friends and coworkers in their 20s and 30s already struggling with neck and back pain, weight gain, macular degeneration, and even serious illnesses like cancer. My conclusion is that ignorance, laziness, or an underestimation of the importance of physical activity and a healthy workspace are the culprits. That’s why I always emphasize staying active and investing in a proper workspace that prioritizes health. I rarely recommend products, but when I do, they're ones I’ve personally tested and truly believe in.
The BenQ RD Programming Series Monitor is the world's first monitor series custom-crafted for engineers and programmers. The features that have positively impacted my posture, vision, and even sleep include:
✅ MoonHalo Backlight – reduces glare and enhances contrast
✅ Low Blue Light Plus Technology – minimizes eye strain
✅ Coding Modes – optimizes display for long programming sessions
✅ Nano Matte Panel – reduces reflections for better focus
✅ KVM Switch – seamlessly switches between multiple devices
✅ Adjustable Stand/ Ergo Arm – promotes better posture
If you’re serious about your craft, take your health just as seriously. Move more, take breaks, and optimize your workspace. Your future self will thank you.
