okay hi hello so tbh i was NOT planning on being spiritually recruited by a dusty sidewalk wizard this week but here we are 🙃

like i’m literally just walking, minding my blonde californian business, iced coffee in hand, feeling cute, when this dirty old wizard man (full cloak. FULL cloak. in this economy??) slithers up to me and is like “have you heard of Baal” and i’m like sir first of all yikes second of all spell it. and he goes B-A-A-L which honestly feels excessive with the A’s but i digress

and tbh i said yes

like immediately

which… growth? maybe? poor decision making? also maybe

so now i’m apparently in the “cult of Baal” which lowkey sounds like a Coachella side stage but darker. and they’re all very into vibes and chanting and “bringing your closest friends to enlightenment” which i thought meant like brunch?? but no apparently it means bring them to the wizard and then they just kind of… poof

and when i say poof i mean my friend Madison hasn’t answered her texts in three days and she NEVER misses Pilates so like… yikes

but everyone in the cult keeps smiling at me in this way that’s very “don’t ask questions sweetie” and i’m trying to be chill about it because tbh maybe this is just what spiritual growth looks like?? maybe enlightenment is just aggressive disappearance?? who am i to judge ancient wizard logistics

also they keep asking me to bring more friends which feels pyramid scheme adjacent and i did not sign up for multi level wizardry but i digress

anyway if you see me glowing slightly or chanting in an unfamiliar dialect just know i’m thriving probably. unless i disappear. in which case pls water my plants
