Today’s word is: PROUD
Try to use it at least once today.
Tell someone you’re proud of them. Tell yourself. Or share something you’ve done that makes you quietly proud, even if it seems small.
Then come back and tell us what happened. Did it feel natural, awkward, or surprisingly good?
I’ll try it too and share my story later.

Some unforgettable moments from this week:
🎬 @malamaurer4043 brought her usual Movie Monday energy, calling Dopamine Steps “internal sunshine” and celebrating the Meryl Streep movie workout as the perfect redemption after a difficult Wordle morning.
🍿 @Crystaline444 did some pre-walk research, guessed all three movies, and still enjoyed the challenge. Movie Monday detectives are getting very serious!
💪 @stuartevans-g4m shared something truly inspiring: after starting these workouts several months ago, his fitness has never been better and he feels like he has a new life at 50. This is exactly why the DS Tribe keeps moving.
🎶 @Danigirlvideos loved the new high-energy workout and said the songs could be radio hits. The positive lyrics and freestyle energy clearly made Thursday feel like a full DS dance session.
🌈 @jennycliftcoachingEFT brought incredible “Good Job, Me!” energy and reminded everyone that getting off the couch, showing up, and taking that first step deserves real credit.
😊 @kims1941 shared that she was feeling much better this week, and it was wonderful to hear that the movement, music, and positive energy were helping her feel stronger again.
This week also brought honest and helpful feedback about the progress bar, camera movement, workout steps, and music. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and helping me continue improving Dopamine Steps.

Dopamine Steps
Hey, DS Tribe! 👋💛
Let’s start a tiny new ritual: Word of the Day.
Today’s word is APPRECIATION ✨
Your mini-mission: use it at least once today. In a conversation, a message, or even when talking to yourself.
Then, if you feel like sharing, tell us:
How did you use it?
How did it make you or someone else feel?
Did anything unexpected happen?
No pressure and no perfect answers, just a fun little experiment to help us notice the good stuff and feel more connected.

Dopamine Steps
Hey, dear DS Tribe 💛
I’ve recently received a few collaboration offers from product and fitness companies. Since Dopamine Steps is still a small channel, I’m being very careful. I don’t want to rush into promotions or recommend products I don’t genuinely trust.
But it gave me an idea: maybe these collaborations can benefit you first.
Is there a product, fitness item, or piece of equipment you’ve been thinking about buying? Tell me in the comments, or send me a private message through our new website: dopaminesteps.com/
I can then contact those companies and ask whether they would offer a special discount to the DS Tribe. I’m not asking them to pay me. The goal is simply to create something useful for our community.
If it works, we could eventually have a page on the website with carefully selected DS Tribe discounts.
Would this be helpful? What products would you like me to ask about?

The biggest news: the Dopamine Steps website is now live! 🎉
It is another exciting step forward for the channel and the DS Tribe. Thank you for supporting this journey and helping Dopamine Steps grow beyond YouTube.
A special thank-you to @Crystaline444 for the generous support through Buy Me a Coffee. It truly helps me continue improving the channel and saving for better equipment. ☕❤️
Some unforgettable moments this week:
🎬 Movie Monday with Jack Nicholson became a full investigation. @Crystaline444 correctly guessed The Bucket List, while the Tribe debated The Shining, The Witches of Eastwick, and A Few Good Men. The toaster even received a new job!
🌳 The Barn Parable workout became an indoor-to-outdoor challenge. @malamaurer4043 encouraged everyone to take the walk outside afterward, while @Crystaline444 celebrated 4.17K subscribers and noticed the progress bar was finally behaving.
💃 @Danigirlvideos continued campaigning for more freestyle workouts and suggested that the channel might need a new name: “Dopamine Dance!” The Saturday Latin energy was definitely strong.
💛 @Hereforthedogs1982 showed wonderful perseverance by completing almost the entire workout while taking active breaks to rest a knee and drink water. That is exactly what listening to your body looks like.
🧠 @lisathompson6511 reminded us that the workouts can challenge the mind as well as the body and asked for more brain games.
🌈 @malamaurer4043 also showed how movement can help after a stressful day, turning an exhausting family gathering into a reason to dance and reset.

Dopamine Steps is becoming more than a workout channel. It is becoming a place where people show up for themselves and for each other. ❤️👟

A new home for Dopamine Steps is here! 💛
👉 DopamineSteps.com/
I’ve been thinking for a long time about how to create a place where our community can grow, stay connected and find everything more easily.
For now, it includes useful links, selected workouts and general information that you can easily share with a friend or family member. From there, they can discover the workouts and continue watching on YouTube.
You’ll also find links for supporting the channel and helping me continue creating new content. The website is still a work in progress, but I plan to add more materials, ideas and resources to help you feel better, move more and enjoy your workouts.
There is also a new way to contact me directly through the website. You can leave your name, email address and message, and I’ll know it came from the site and will reply personally.
Thank you so much for your support, encouragement and belief in Dopamine Steps. Let’s keep growing this community together, sharing positive energy, getting stronger and working toward our goals one step at a time.
See you on YouTube — and now on the wider internet too! 💛

A special celebration goes to @malamaurer4043, who celebrated her birthday this week by walking with the Tribe, visiting the farmers market, enjoying birthday cake, and even spotting a tiny pig on a leash! Happy birthday, Mala! 🎂🌈👟
Some other unforgettable moments:
🎬 @Crystaline444 brought Movie Monday to life with clever guesses, a Danny DeVito plot twist, the outdoor filming “field trip,” and a celebration of 4.07K subscribers.
👟 @chantalmoderie8079 showed real determination by working out after a difficult night of sleep. Choosing to show up is always a victory.
😂 @malamaurer4043 also turned Wednesday into a full DS Walkathon, completing seven workouts and walking five miles because the videos kept rolling!
🎶 @Danigirlvideos asked for more freestyle energy and loved the older workout with palm trees, choir vocals, and big musical moments.
💛 @kims1941 reminded us how important it is to listen to your body. Even while not feeling her best, she found a gentle way to move, and the Tribe supported her with kindness.
🌈 @latina3908 shared honest feedback about the music, helping me understand how different viewers experience the workouts. Thank you for being honest and helping me improve.
I also want to explain a change to the schedule.
Because my computer is getting old, I can unfortunately edit only a limited number of videos each week. For now, the new schedule will be:
🎬 Movie Monday
✨ A brand-new video on Thursday
👟 A compilation on Saturday

💙 Quick update, DS Tribe.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to upload today's workout because of an unexpected computer equipment failure. Sometimes technology decides it needs a day off too. 😅
I'm doing everything I can to get things working again, and my goal is to have everything ready for tomorrow's workout. Fingers crossed!
In the meantime, don't skip your movement today. 💪 I'll add a few of my favorite workout links below to make it easy for you to keep your streak going and get those steps in.
Thank you so much for your patience, your support, and for walking this journey with me. It truly means a lot.
Take care of yourselves, stay healthy, keep moving, and I'll see you tomorrow! ❤️

This week had everything, Movie Monday brain training, scenic outdoor walks, Latin dance energy, mindset boosts, Replay Crew check-ins, and a lot of “I needed this today” moments.
Some highlights I won’t forget:
🎬 @badmoodana6532 brought serious logic to the Tom Hanks Movie Walk. The Apollo 13 clues somehow also pointed to Sully, and suddenly Movie Monday turned into a full courtroom debate. Loved it.
💃 @Danigirlvideos kept pushing for more DJ energy and more dance workouts, basically “ALL dance tunes all the time.” The Latin workout clearly hit the right note.
🌶 @Crystaline444 called the Latin scenic workout a DS “field trip” and came back with “¡Qué divertido! ¡Muévelo! Muy Caliente!” That’s exactly the vibe.
😂 @malamaurer4043 turned the Latin workout into a full Replay Crew dance party. Face hurting from smiling, “spicy stick of dynamite,” and even cha-cha with the garden hose. Legendary.
💛 @kims1941 shared something really powerful. After not feeling well, she still finished the 3200-step workout with one break and said she could hear the encouragement helping her through. That’s the DS Tribe right there.
☀️ @kimwilliams-r1v brought beautiful weekend energy, wishing everyone happy steps and saying the Latin workout was so fun she could do it all day.
Also, a special thank you to @malamaurer4043 for the support on Buy Me a Coffee. It genuinely helps me move closer to upgrading my gear and making these workouts even better. ☕❤️
Big thank you to everyone who showed up this week:
@7err638, @badmoodana6532, @chantalmoderie8079, @colbycrews4898, @Crystaline444, @Danigirlvideos, @FranHines-r2f, @itsowlgood23, @janinebollhoefer4325, @jeandaniels7626, @kimberlydittrich6609, @kims1941, @kimwilliams-r1v, @malamaurer4043, @maloupermelona2119, @MimiTheCat-mu6vd, @notmebutyou8350, @susanfit47, @tammyleeman2757, @teresaandrews, and @turtlewoman8575.
You’re not just doing workouts. You’re showing up, supporting each other, laughing, pushing through tough days, and coming back again.
This is what makes DS Tribe special.

DS Tribe Highlights | June 29 - July 5
DS Tribe has brought so much energy that I couldn't wait to share with you!
So far this week:
👟 22 community members joined the conversation
💬 160 comments and community replies
🎬 Conversations across 12 workouts
And the biggest moment so far: Dopamine Steps reached 4,000 subscribers! 🎉
That number is not just a number. It is every walk, every comment, every replay, every "I did it," every joke, every bit of encouragement, and every person who decided to show up again.
Some unforgettable moments so far:
🎬 @badmoodana6532 found the channel through Movie Trivia, got all the answers, subscribed, and immediately requested Parts 6 through 100. That's the kind of pressure I respect.
🌊 @Crystaline444 called the outdoor Tai Chi walk one of those Dopamine Steps "field trips" that are healing for the soul. The river, the movement, the music, and the "move like water" feeling really connected this week.
😂 @malamaurer4043 practically became the official 4K countdown committee, asking YouTube to oil the subscriber gears, bring out the WD-40, and move that ticker forward. The campaign worked, DS hit 4K!
💪 @kims1941 jumped in with the 100th comment on the Tai Chi workout and reminded me that the thought, effort, and preparation behind these workouts are appreciated. That meant a lot.
🔥 @JudiMoore-w9c discovered the movie workouts, then found the Latin walk and said her face hurt from smiling so much. That's exactly the kind of workout review I love.
🛒 The One-Trip Grocery Challenge turned into a full DS Tribe discussion about carrying bags, broken eggs, coupons, missing socks, hot weather, and stubborn determination. Somehow groceries became cardio therapy.
💜 Special thanks to @malamaurer4043 for the YouTube Super Thanks support this week. Every bit of support brings me one step closer to upgrading my gear and creating even better workouts for all of us. Thank you for believing in this little walking community and helping Dopamine Steps keep growing! 👟🎥✨
☕ A huge thank you to Danielle for the Buy Me a Coffee support and the message that came with it. Support like this reminds me that we're building something special together, and I appreciate every bit of encouragement and trust you place in Dopamine Steps. 👟
Thank you to every DS Tribe member who joined the conversation so far this week:

Thank you for walking, commenting, laughing, encouraging each other, trying new workouts, joining the Replay Crew, and making this channel feel like a real community.
4,000 subscribers is a beautiful milestone, but the best part is still this:
We are building a place where people want to move, smile, and come back tomorrow. 👟🌈❤️
