Lara and The Birds is a singer, songwriter and filmmaker from the north of England.
Her first collection of music videos is called ‘Album For Ex Lovers’ and features collaborations with musician and actor friends in different cities and countries.

Lara takes her inspiration from some of the great singer-storytellers of the past hundred years: Marlene Dietrich, Edith Piaf, Carole King, Barbara Streisand, Tom Waits, Jacques Brel, Leonard Cohen, Tim Minchin, Bonnie Raitt, Randy Newman, Lin Manuel Miranda & Alicia Keys. She likes small venues, real pianos, stripped back recordings, truth telling, humour and heart.
