Good news. The "Great War WW1" Melon Playground Mod is already finished aswell as the "US Law Enforcement" Mod. I still need to finish the WW2 in MPG Mod but it will soon be finished. The characters are getting completely remade to look even better. And some new firearms are getting added. I will also make a lite version of the WW2 in MPG mod (potentially) due to there being A LOT of files in the mod (and the game will take pretty long to load if you don't have some beefy device).
As I said before, these 3 will be my last Melon Playground Mods I will make. I will release all of them at once in one file. Thank you for your patience.
Okay, so as some of you may know (Discord friends for example), I am getting a PC after 8 Months. What will this mean? I will pretty much stop making Melon Playground content in any way, shape or form (Mods, saves, videos etc.) I will be moving over to People Playground instead, where I will upload PPG content. I know this may be a disappointment to some of you, but I have gotten very tired of Melon Playground as a community and even as a whole. I will still be finishing the mods I have left behind so do not worry, but I will stop making mods that I have planned to make (such as a Cold War mod, a mod about the Soviet Union which would've added soldiers all the way from the beginning to 1991, a mod about the US, German and Austrian Law Enforcement and even more mods that i do not have the motivation to finish.)
And now speaking of why I do not like Melon Playground as much as I used to (or not at all even.)
1) Making mods for Melon Playground takes A LOT of effort. There's a lot of stupid design choices that make developing mods insanely difficult and even frustrating at points.
2) When developing a big, very detailed or both combined mod, then the game will get EXTREMELY laggy which often leads to crashes and even my tablet restarting sometimes. Melon Playground is way to un-optimized for me to still have fun developing mods. It has become so frustrating, that I genuinely regret ever starting working on mods.
3) Speaking of lag and un-optimization: Melon Playground's optimization is so bad, that if you spawn in about 5 characters, the game starts running at low frames which completely ruins making a scenario where a lot of people are involved (Like a WW1 battle video). This will mean that you have to CONSTANTLY turn on the Slow Motion option and even then, the game is still extremely laggy.
4) The community of Melon Playground is extremely... How should I say it in the nicest way possible?.. Pretty interesting to say the least. You cannot go anywhere without seeing a Neo-Nazi, Communist, Anti-Furry or anything else that goes along the way of this (Even though I am not the biggest fan of Furries either, but let them have their fun in their own lives.) On my time of watching Melon Playground content, I have seen so much strange and even disgusting stuff. I have seen so many videos of people sexualizing a game about Fruits and Vegetables. It is almost impressive how people manage to do it, but you should keep the Rule 34 slogan in your head (It is extremely true.) I often poke fun at stuff like this, but it often really isn't because YOUNG CHILDREN are making these videos, people not even old enough to spell S.E.X.
5) This is the final thing I'm gonna say about Melon Playground (Even though I could go on and on but as of writing this, it is almost 3am. I just thought I had to put this out.) The game just isn't fun anymore and honestly never really was. I often got so upset to the point where I would try convincing myself that Melon Playground is BETTER than People Playground (Which it absolutely isn't.) I will be very serious with all of you now and honestly, I wish I never started making Melon Playground content. Sure, some of my most popular videos are about Melon Playground, but I would rather be happy and have fun making random, idiotic little skits, than being frustrated by even have to edit a video that will get less than 100 views. You can really tell just how much I have started to dislike this game.
I know, I went on a rant about a game I really do not like, and a rant that 5 people will probably see but I am glad I have done this and finally put out my opinions about this game. If you enjoy Melon Playground, then good for you. I am not here to Dox, Swat or harass you for liking this game (Like a lot of other people would do so see yourself as lucky.) I absolutely despise this game and the time it has taken from my hands. I wish it was never created and I wish I was smart enough to never download it. You can really see how greedy Melon Playground is. Putting ads into your game is fine, but you get bombarded by ads every 5 minutes to the point where it gets so insanely annoying, that you want to stop playing. The workshop proves my point yet again: You have to pay real money for in game currency, which you can then use to download a very simple, basic and easy to make mod about a single brick or even Melon recolor. The last thing I will be saying about Melon Playground now (luckily) is a video that I want everyone of my viewers to see. I will link the video in the comments of this post because the person who made it deserves a lot more attention and is the reason why I even made the points in this post. Watch the video, it is extremely interesting and just shows how disgusting the community behind Melon Playground can get.
Anyways, I know that a lot of you won't be reading this post, but if you did, thank you. I really hope you understand and don't get sad that I will stop making mods for "The unspoken game that I have talked about too much in this post". You have to understand how much time it takes to make this stuff and just how frustrating and stressful it can get. I am extremely excited for when the PC is finally up and running (which may be this week hopefully. My sister's boyfriend is working on the PC now because I may have made a little oopsie that we will not talk about). I will be making videos about People Playground probably, Garry's Mod, and maybe even some Half Life 1 and 2 gameplay's including the DLCs and fan projects people have made. I will also probably be making random videos in the style of @osadniczek140 (who you probably know as the guy who lingers on my channel. Even though I linger more on his channel so Haha noob XD get pwned nerd)))))) Subscribe to him. He makes extremely epic content that needs to be seen by everyone except the government because if they do, all footage will be confiscated.
