New Orleans, LA sludge/southern/metal band Ox was formed in late 2020 by vocalist Jon Marc Kilpatrick, guitarist Noel Pilie, and twin brothers Angelo and Albert Lachin, on guitar and drums. Their mutual love of old school thrash and sludge metal bands such as Acid Bath, Pantera, Metallica and Corrosion of Conformity, and also grunge rockers Alice In Chains, Melvins, and Soundgarden was what brought them together to form Ox.
