By popular demand and with the help of Paris Custom Automotive we are adding a 9.50 class to the Index classes at the 3rd Annual Havliks Fastest Streetcar Shootout Tribute Race presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil and the Prostreet Elite Show and Cruise presented by RDB Racing happening at Cordova Dragway August 6th-8th 2026!

Several racers wanted us to add this 9.50 class to this year’s index races and soon 3 time Havliks FSC competitor Matt Paris jumped in and said he wanted to sponsor it! So together with the Rob Sheesley Trucking the index classes include 8.50,9.50,10.50 and 11.50.

If you have interest in the 9.50 class please contact us for early registration before registration opens in an effort to help keep car count as even as possible in the index classes since the other classes got a head start.

Public Registration opens Saturday March 7th at 8am (CST) RACE IS LIMITED TO 100 index cars and 150 heads up cars making the 250 limit.

**CONFIRMED** Jarrod Aspegren’s 64’ Chevy II is registered for The 2nd Annual Havliks FSC Shootout Tribute Race Presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil and the Pro Street Elite Show and Cruise Presented by RDB Racing.

Jarrod and his now 13 year old son got hooked on Drag and Drive events back in 2019. His son has been on all 12 drag and drives with him! He says they try to hit 3-5 drag and drive events a year. Their addiction found the limits of the blower and cage cert of his previous Camaro that started in the 13 sec zone quickly passing the 12, 11, 10, 9 second along the way as the car evolved.

The quest to go faster snowballed into this new build. This 64’ Chevy II has a 25.2 cert with a Bow tie Engine Shop LS and twin forced Induction Turbos making some power. Built as a drag and drive/ no prep car he added a Gear Vendors overdrive on the Bubba Gin Transmission for the drives.

There will be several father/son teams at this year’s shootout which is really cool to see!

August 14th-17th Cordova Dragway is where the Baddest Streetcars of All Time will be!

**CONFIRMED** The Beat the Heat program is bringing backup! John Hulbert’s 1984 Chevy Caprice will be at the 2nd Annual Havliks FSC Shootout Tribute Race Presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil and The Pro Street Elite Show and Cruise Presented by RDB Racing.

John is a retired recovery first responder and has been a member of the Beat the Heat program since 2000.
He was Mod Cop champion in 2016, Pro Cop champion in 2019, 2020 and 2023. Runner up in Top Cop all four of those years.

Both BTH racers have served their community throughout their careers and still are giving back! We look forward to having them at this year’s event!

Beware if they get you in a grudge race you might get a ticket for being to slow 😂

**CONFIRMED** the Fuzz is on to us.. Jim Luckett is bringing the Beat the Heat program to the 2nd Annual Havliks FSC Shootout Tribute Race Presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil and the Pro Street Elite Show and Cruise presented by RDB Racing!

The beat the heat program was established in 1992 in an effort to help get street racing off the streets and on to the track. This is one of 2 cars they will have at the event.

Jim Luckett, a retired 21 year veteran of the Romeoville Police Dept. Retired in May of 2022. In his career, he worked in the Patrol Division, worked as a K9 handler, and was a Firearms Instructor.

He’s been a member of Beat the HEAT since 2007 competing in events throughout 10 states, and traveled thousands of miles. He’s the 2020 BTH World Champion, and 2020 BTH Mod-Cop Champion, 2023 BTH Mod-Cop runner-up, and 2024 BTH Mod-Cop Champion.

August 14th -17th at Cordova Dragway We’re going to try and have some fun with the Beat the Heat guys doing some grudge racing. Tickets will only be issued to the racers that can’t keep up with Heat!

Rich Wozniak has entered his long time owned 69’ Camaro in the Pro Street Elite Show and Cruise Presented by RDB Racing happening at the 2nd Annual Havliks FSC Shootout Tribute Race Presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil!

Rich Wozniak has owned this car for 38 Years! He bought it at the age of 16 years old and never looked back. This 69’ Camaro has a 565ci Big Chief Headed Motor that flexes 1050HP on motor with an Applied Technology Nitrous Fogger System for some added heat! The Camaro was built as an old school back half car with a 25.5 cert Chassis. It still wears the custom paint that was painted In a garage 20 years ago.

Bill “Elvis” Stull is bringing his super clean 69’ Bel Air to the Pro Street Elite Show and Cruise Presented by RDB Racing happening at the 2nd Annual Havliks FSC Shootout Tribute Race!

Bill is the proud owner of Kuzins Kustom Body and Paint that built this masterpiece of classic iron! Bill raced in the NMCA from 94’ to ‘02 along with some Outlaw Super Stock racing! He use to race a 1970 Corvette that has tripped the lights at a 7.96 @178 mph years ago. He says “he still has that car but don’t race it anymore”…then included “well not yet anyway lol.” Is that a clue we may see it next year 🤔

Bill’s recently finished and perfectly polished Belair will be a must see Prostreet Elite car at the event! These big body lines are timeless! Sweet piece right here!
