​A baby’s heartbeat is the most beautiful sound in the world. It’s the promise of a future, the rhythm of life itself. For us, Alex and GG, that precious sound has been both a source of hope and a constant echo of fear. After three years of marriage and enduring the heartbreaking loss of two miscarriages, our son Axel was the miracle we had prayed for.

​Our pregnancy was a high-risk journey, a time not of peaceful anticipation, but of constant anxiety. We lived with the knowledge that we weren’t just carrying a baby; we were carrying a future hanging in the balance. We held our breath between every ultrasound, overanalyzed every kick and every silence, and found strength in each other through a journey that tested our limits.

​Now, at just four months old, our sweet Axel's tiny heart is struggling. He has a serious condition called Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), and he needs a life-saving surgery to close an opening in his heart. The estimated cost for this crucial procedure and his ongoing care is P450,000/$8,200. This is a number that seems impossible for us to reach. My own complex medical journey with APAS & RID Categories 1, 2 & 5, which included a Caesarean operation, has left us with no financial cushion to face this new, daunting challenge. We have nothing left to give, but our son has everything to gain.

​This is the parents' most urgent plea. This isn't just about a surgery; it's about a beating heart. It’s about giving our son the chance to live, to grow, and to thrive. It’s about giving him the future he deserves.
