The days of endless daylight and midnight sun are over 😎 However, the sun now only disappears briefly below the horizon, resulting in long, dramatic sunsets. We experienced our first sunset during a stay at the Star Arctic Hotel in Saariselkä, Finland. The hotel is located on a hill with a fantastic view stretching all the way to Russia, almost 300 km / 180 miles north of the Arctic Circle 🌄
