🎬 Years of Research. Thousands of Experiments. Built for Video Editors.

For years, I’ve been researching what actually works when it comes to visual effects, overlays, textures, transitions, and motion elements that make video content stand out.

I didn’t simply collect existing assets.

I studied the layers and effects that editors repeatedly use and enjoy, then recreated and designed many of them from scratch, with video editing workflows in mind.

Inside my AA-VFX channel, you’ll find a huge variety of visual layers and effects, including:

🖋️ INK Transitions
✨ OVERLAY Transitions
🎞️ Old Film & Vintage Film Effects
📺 Film Distortions & Glitches
🌫️ Dust, Dirt & Film Damage
✨ Floating Particles
💥 Distortion & Abstract Effects
🎬 Textures, Atmospheres & Visual Layers
🔄 Transitions and Motion Elements

These assets can be especially useful today, even in the AI era.
Sometimes your footage needs that extra visual layer to make it feel more dynamic, interesting and alive.

A subtle film texture.
A burst of particles.
An ink transition.
A distortion layer.
A little dirt or imperfection.

Sometimes it’s that extra layer that makes the image POP.

Over the years, I’ve created many playlists on AA-VFX specifically to help video editors quickly find these kinds of elements.

🔎 Visit the channel and search through the playlists. You may find exactly the layer your next project needs.

The materials on these playlists are intended primarily for personal use and individual creative projects.

🚨 BREAKING NEWS: Wait... AI Is Slowing Down?! 😂

Dario Amodei from Anthropic says we need to "pace the frontier." Sam Altman from OpenAI agrees, and both companies say independent experts should get deep access to their AI systems to make sure everything is safe.

Wait... everything is safe?
Who was checking before? 😂

After years of "move faster," billions invested, autonomous agents, security incidents and AI already transforming jobs and creative work, we're suddenly putting up a speed limit.

A little late, don't you think?
We've spent decades watching Terminator, The Matrix, I, Robot and Ex Machina warning us about exactly this.

We laughed.
Now the people building the machines are saying: "Guys... maybe let's slow down."

So are we actually taking control?
Or just pressing the snooze button on Judgment Day?
Or is it just a statement to calm the public?

Until we know, I'll turn on the 4K big screen in my living room, put on some relaxing space backgrounds I've created... and enjoy the view.

Because if the AI takes over...
At least my screensaver will look amazing... 😂
With original stuff I've made without any prompts! 🚀

THE AI APOCALYPSE HAS ENTERED THE CHAT.
While most of us are watching AI generate images, videos and jokes, some of the people actually building this technology are becoming increasingly worried about where it's heading.

Recently, Anthropic researchers including Jacob Coxon, Evan Hubinger and Samuel Marks raised serious concerns about the race toward superintelligence and the possibility that future AI systems could become dangerous enough to threaten humanity.

But maybe the machines won't destroy us.
Maybe they'll just make everything.
Movies? Generated.
Entire TV series? Generated.
Actors, music, visual effects, video games? Generated.
And eventually, streaming services might become almost pointless.

Why wait for Netflix to release something when you can simply ask an AI to create a completely new movie, series or virtual reality experience for you, on demand, specifically for you, right there and then?

A new world, created from nothing, because you asked for it.
And somehow, in the middle of all this, I started thinking about something else.
Art - Because I've been creating the kind of visual work you see on this channel for more than 10 years.

Thousands of hours of animation, particles, fractals, geometry, simulations and motion graphics, created the old-fashioned way: by actually building them.

And here's the funny part.
Some of the AI systems we use today have learned, among countless other things, how to imitate visual styles very similar to the kind of animation artists have been creating for years.

So while the machines are learning to imitate the artists...
I'm looking back at the work that existed before they arrived.
Maybe that's why this channel suddenly feels a little different to me.
It isn't just an archive of old motion backgrounds.
It's a little museum of the pre-AI era.
A time when a human actually had to sit there for hours trying to make particles behave.

So until the machines take over...

Welcome to AA-VFX.

Over 10 years of human-made visual madness.
No prompt required.
Just a GPU, a lot of patience...
and probably a slightly unhealthy relationship with rendering!

Something has changed on YouTube, and I know many creators feel it.

The internet has become faster, Shorts have changed the way people consume video, and an endless flood of new content makes it harder than ever for older channels and independent artists to be seen. Channels with hundreds of thousands of subscribers can struggle to reach even a fraction of the audience they once had, and this is especially noticeable in the world of animated backgrounds, fractals, abstract visuals, space art and experimental digital animation.

It feels like there is less and less room for art that asks you to stop, look, and simply enjoy what you are seeing.

And now, with AI producing an incredible amount of visual content every day, the challenge has become even greater for artists who still spend weeks creating something carefully, experimenting with formulas, colors, movement, composition and ideas until something unique finally comes to life.

But I don't want to give up on that.

I'm currently working on a new fractal project for AA-vfx, something I've been developing for weeks, and I'll be sharing it very soon. The images I'm posting here are just a small preview of what is coming.

If you enjoy this kind of art, I hope you'll take a moment to explore the channel and some of the longer videos. There is a lot of work, experimentation and passion behind them.

And to all the other creators making fractals, animated backgrounds, abstract art, space visuals and experimental animation: I hope you find your audience. I hope your work gets the exposure it deserves.

The world may be moving faster, but I still believe there is a place for beautiful things that deserve more than a few seconds of attention.

AA-VFX: 20 Years of Motion Design, 13 Years of Creation

Since the rapid evolution of video engines and AI driven production tools, many people have stopped exploring the incredible capabilities hidden inside professional video and compositing software. The world is moving toward faster solutions, where production can sometimes become a matter of entering an idea and waiting for the result.

But I believe the artistic decision still begins with the mind.

Here at AA-VFX, I support both old and new creative tools.

As a motion designer with 20 years of experience, I have worked with software since the early days of compositing, particle engines and digital visual effects.

I started with programs such as Combustion, later moved into After Effects, experimented with software that is no longer with us, such as HITFILM PRO, and explored Fusion and Blender for effects, animation and experimentation.

For the past 13 years, I have been continuously creating and publishing here on this channel.

That is a considerable amount of time.

And the most interesting part is that much of my best work is still hiding inside this enormous archive: thousands of videos, experiments, galaxies, stars, particles, abstract worlds, animations and visual studies.

Some of these works are connected to my own long term research into fractal art and the early days of computer graphics, starting with very basic tools and gradually evolving into fractal creations based on waves, light and energy.

Over the years, I began calling this approach PHOTONIC ART.

And I am still creating.

So I invite you to explore the channel. Don't just look at the latest uploads. Go into the playlists and dig deep.

You may discover something completely different from what you expected.

After thousands of projects created throughout the years, I believe there is something here for almost every kind of visual experience:

✨ Relaxation
🌌 Exploration
⚡ Action
🌀 Abstract worlds
🔬 Experimental graphics
💫 Fractal art
🌠 Cosmic imagery
🧠 Visual ideas designed to stimulate thought and imagination

Some things are difficult to explain with words.

You simply have to enter the playlists and explore.

Somewhere inside this enormous visual archive, you may find exactly what you were looking for, or perhaps something you didn't even know you were looking for.

Welcome to AA-VFX.

Come explore the mystery of the universe with me. 🌌✨

When Geometry Collides With Color…

What happens when dense geometry, tilted 3D rings, and controlled color collisions are pushed into a 3D space?

These designs are the result of an ongoing visual experiment - a study of geometric density, spatial rotation, overlapping rings, and the collision of 3D colors. Each layer interacts with the next, creating unexpected patterns, optical depth, and structures that almost feel alive.

The surrounding forms are built around rings colliding, intersecting, rotating, and shifting their angles through space, while carefully changing color relationships creates completely different visual worlds.

This is not simply about making colorful geometry. It is an exploration of what happens when shape, depth, perspective, rotation, and color interference become one system.

Everything is created in high-resolution, high-quality imagery, with the flexibility to experiment with and completely transform the color palette.

A little geometry.
A little chaos.
A lot of collision.

And somewhere between order and randomness, something unexpected appears. 🌀

Something new is taking shape...

For many years, I've been exploring the world of digital art through geometry, fractals, mathematical patterns, light, and motion. Every project has been another step in understanding how simple rules can evolve into something that feels surprisingly organic and alive.

Lately, my focus has shifted even further in that direction. These new fractal experiments feel less like abstract mathematics and more like living structures - forms that resemble flowers, roots, energy, coral, or something from another world. I never begin with a specific object in mind; I simply explore and let the patterns reveal themselves.

Even after all these years, one thing hasn't changed: digital art never stops evolving. There is always another shape to discover, another idea to test, another visual language waiting to emerge. That's what keeps me creating.

If you're new to the channel, this is a great time to explore. Over the years I've uploaded hundreds of videos, motion backgrounds, geometry experiments, fractal animations, and visual journeys that many people have never discovered.

Take a look through the videos and playlists - you may find creations that surprise you, inspire you, or simply help you relax.

And if you enjoy this direction, stay tuned. The next generation of fractal and geometric artwork is already in development, and I can't wait to share what's coming next.

Thank you for being part of this creative journey. 🚀

A glimpse into infinite geometry ✨

In the past months I've been exploring a new series of 3D fractal animations for large screens. Every scene grows from mathematical patterns that evolve into endless worlds of light, depth, color, and motion.

These aren't short clips or quick social media edits- they're immersive 4K visual experiences designed for TVs, LED walls, home theaters, offices, events, exhibitions, VJ performances, clubs, and anyone who enjoys having living digital art in the background.

No two journeys are ever the same. A subtle change in a fractal formula can create an entirely new universe of shapes, structures, colors, and flowing movement. That's what makes this series so fascinating to create.

If you're looking for something relaxing, inspiring, or simply mesmerizing on a big screen, take a look through the latest videos on the channel. You might discover your next favorite visual atmosphere.
