NEW September 2025 plan with me *on a boat*
https://youtu.be/f7-ZPTUrg5U

I do a traditional plan with me video using my index card deck and an electronic calendar for planning September.

The video includes notes in the description, but here are a few fun dates I’ve added to my calendar. What are you observing or celebrating this month?

- September 7th Full Moon (total lunar eclipse!)
- September 8th Grandparent's Day (shuffle some address cards the week before to write, address, and send cards in time!)
- September 17th Constitution Day (there are so many awesome Youtube videos to watch around this)
- September 21st New Moon (partial solar eclipse)

Shuffled a few of my regular cards to future dates ✌️ we’re cruising in BC 🇨🇦 for a bit. Laundry is not accessible — water is limited, electricity is from the sun, and our plans are set by the currents, wind, and pumpout availability 😋 C’est la vie.

My card deck is helping me stay focused on the positive, meal plan and prep, keep a record of my days, and keep our floating home safe and welcoming as we travel.

It’s July!!! I’m on the ferry on my way to run errands on the mainland. I love a fresh month card. If you haven’t yet, consider planning a few months ahead from now. I cannot tell you how grateful I am that I planned 2025 back in January. It’s painful to sit down and have to make decisions all at once, but your future self will thank you.

Between having major events and “themes” planned out and the autopilot feeling of shuffling annual, seasonal, monthly, and weekly action cards — I have so much less I have to figure out in my day-to-day that allows me to better go with the flow.

You can use a digital calendar or a planner to do this, but I still love the feeling of holding my cards.

Happy July and halfway point of 2025!

My third 12 week year is starting today 🤯 thinking of you all while filling out my cards. Only one more set is left in my card box now.

On Friday my boys and I kicked off another summer of fun with a solstice sunrise hike. I got a cute fanny pack to house my fun card deck for the summer. Actually, I think it’s called a hip pack - or waist pack now. I was pretty excited that they actually fit snug in there when I brought it home.

Wishing you the best,

Jenn

ACCOUNTABILITY THURSDAY --

Our boat is “on the hard” this week! We have routine maintenance happening to the bottom of the boat while it’s in the boat yard. My husband is in charge of seeing that everything we need done is completed before splash day.

My boys and I are hanging out on land in the meantime. I bought an upholstery cleaner for when we’re back on the dock. I’m pretty excited to clean our cushions with something that will fit in my pilot house. Last year was quite the scene with what I rented.

On to the accountability updates —

Taking the time mid-ish week to see how everyone is doing on reaching our goals or maintaining what we've already achieved.

1. What are you working towards?
2. What progress have you made?
3. What are your plans moving forward?
4. Optional request for feedback 🕺

I have these scheduled to go out the next five Thursdays at 9am Pacific.

You can set the time on your calendar if you'd like, knowing you'll have to report back to us how you're doing. That's what I'll be doing at least.

ACCOUNTABILITY THURSDAY -- I didn’t post last Thursday 🙃 we enjoyed having family in the island to celebrate the end of the school year 🎉

I’m still working on my fun card deck video. I will have access to fast Internet next week, so I am hoping to get some videos scheduled for the summer. I’ve also been writing 👀 this week I added a fun activity of watching romantic adventure movies. I noticed my grammatical error on the card after posting it to my Instagram stories 🤪
