China’s K-Visa 🛂:
China is planning to launch a special visa called K-Visa to attract skilled professionals, scientists, researchers, and global talent from other countries. Basically, they want talented people to come, work, and live in China easily.
US H-1B fee hike 💵:
The US government has increased the fee for H-1B visas to $100,000 (earlier it was much lower). This visa is mostly used by Indian IT workers and tech professionals to work in the US.
👉 This makes it very expensive for companies to hire foreign workers in the US.
🔑 What it means:
The US is making it tougher and costlier for foreign workers.
China is doing the opposite — making it easier and more attractive for skilled people to move there.
So, global talent might start looking at China as an alternative to the US for jobs and research opportunities.

🚨 Big Update on H-1B Visa!
Reports suggest that Donald Trump has proposed hiking the H-1B visa fee to $100,000 — a massive jump from the current cost of around $4,000–$6,000.
👉 If implemented, this move could hit Indian IT companies the hardest, as they are among the largest applicants for H-1B visas.
👉 For Indian tech professionals, the American Dream might become significantly costlier.
👉 Smaller firms and startups may find it nearly impossible to send talent to the U.S., leading to reduced opportunities and a potential talent shift to other global markets.
💡 The H-1B program has long been a gateway for Indian engineers and developers to contribute to U.S. innovation. A steep hike like this could reshape global tech mobility.
🔎 Question to my network:
How do you see this impacting India’s IT sector and the future of tech talent migration?

Romania has become an increasingly popular destination for international students due to its affordability, quality education, and rich cultural experience. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to study in Romania.
Why Study in Romania?
Affordability
Romania is one of the most budget-friendly countries in Europe for students. Tuition fees are significantly lower than in Western Europe and North America, and the cost of living is also remarkably low. This makes it an attractive option for students who want a quality European education without a hefty price tag.
Quality Education
Romanian universities are well-regarded and offer a wide range of programs in various languages, including English, French, and German. Degrees are internationally recognized due to the country's adherence to the Bologna Process, which ensures academic standards are consistent with other European countries. Romania is particularly known for its strong programs in medicine and engineering.
Cultural Experience
Romania offers a unique blend of historical and modern life. With its medieval castles, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities, it provides an enriching environment for students. The country has a diverse and welcoming culture, and you'll find it easy to immerse yourself in local traditions and student life.
Step-by-Step Guide to Applying
Step 1: Choose Your Program and University
Romania doesn't have a central application portal, so you must apply directly to each university. Research and select the program and university that best suit your academic goals. Check the university's website for specific admission requirements, deadlines, and the languages in which courses are taught.
Step 2: Prepare Your Documents
Once you've chosen your university and program, gather the required documents. These typically include:
A certified copy of your high school diploma or previous degree.
Academic transcripts.
Passport copies and passport-sized photos.
Proof of language proficiency (e.g., IELTS or TOEFL scores for English-taught programs).
A medical certificate.
A completed application form.
A letter of intent or motivation letter.
Some universities may also require an entrance exam or a portfolio submission, particularly for competitive fields like medicine or architecture.
Step 3: Submit Your Application
Submit your application dossier to the university. Most universities accept online applications, but some may require you to send physical copies. Pay the application fee, which is usually non-refundable.
Step 4: Receive Your Acceptance Letter
After processing your application, the university will submit your file to the Romanian Ministry of Education for final approval. This process can take several weeks. Once approved, the university will issue an official Letter of Acceptance, which is a crucial document for your visa application.
Visa Process
For students from outside the EU/EEA, a long-stay student visa (Type D/SD) is required.
