Hey there! Quick update.

I had a very busy week of work and finally got the chance yesterday to put some work into unpacking my things in the apartment.

My friend Ashley came to visit in the evening and called it “livable”…. ILL TAKE IT! Haha

I am excited to share this next video about my first week, I’ve been going through boxes and organizing my spaces and I’m not finished but by the end of this next upload you’ll see where I have it now.

I can’t get this video out any sooner than I am already but I look forward to reading your ideas about how I should decorate soon!

so... how was your weekend?

I am on an Amtrak train back to New York City right now. 

I was in Maryland visiting my partner Sam's family and I had the special responsibility to photograph a twin baby christening!

While at his sister's house the family gathered and surprised me by watching my latest YouTube video (like an event!!!!) The special part is that just today this channel passed 60,000 subscribers!!! and while sitting there they were the first to congratulate me.

I am getting back late tonight and I am looking forward to having the day off work tomorrow and getting the entire day to unpack and get excited over my new place.

there is a solution so you keep seeing my videos where I tell stories.

1. Make sure you've clicked the subscribe button
2. Then click on the bell next to my name
3. Select turn on all notifications for my channel. 

It will just let you know when I've uploaded and keep my videos on your recommended tab.

I am looking forward to making new videos but you wont see them unless you do this! thank you!

Hey! Just wanted to check in with you! How’s your week going?

Today I have another apartment to see and I already have my application in for it! Rent stabilized 1 bed for 1600/month!!!!! Looking forward to locking a place in soon! 🤞

On my last video I got a lot of different feedback. Some excited to see more of my life in the city and some people that felt that was boring and unnecessary. So fair warning ⚠️ In an upcoming video I will be a lot more personal (and I’m excited to share it!). I can’t share details but It’s a special opportunity to share a part of me that has been in so many comments and I’ll be taking full advantage of the opportunity to share my story.

The Apartment hunt has been much too long and once that’s done it’ll be back to building my life in the city and sharing stories of my days and experiences again. Also some product reviews tossed in when I find something I want to talk about.

This channel is about my life and experiences and will continue to be! :)

I just have to say…you are awesome.

Ashley’s photography page passed 2,000 Followers last night.

For an artist like her who has been shooting nyc for 8 years with barely anyone recognizing her work it has made a huge impact. Her daily 365 photo project got flooded with likes and comments showing so much support for her dedication to this project.

It makes me very happy to see her excited about the attention and it seems you’ve refilled her battery. (It was low…)

Hey. it's been a crazy week already. Since there is a lot of demand for news regarding the apartment I shared in my most recent video I want to share that I still do not know any news myself.

I posted the video the same day I saw the unit at 5am. I am still waiting on a definite answer, it takes time to hear back.

what I think is interesting is that you all are on the same page and on the same wait as me to find out if this unbelievable place could be mine.

I am working on a "week in my life" vlog. So far it has been exciting (milestones and friends birthdays) but it has also been the best way to share the apartment hunt application process and how complicated and challenging it can be. I got news back that made me almost cry yesterday....then today that kind of got resolved after fighting and challenging the housing partnership and I am so grateful for the result of that....

I do want to share if I get it or if I dont. at the moment I dont know and I appreciate your patience as I have to have patience myself.
