I'm truly sorry to have to make this announcement, but I have some bad news.
I've once again received a copyright claim for the song Cry Babies by Crystal Castles, used in the What is Logical animation—both in the original video and the animation compilation.
I'm currently filing a counterclaim, but unfortunately, the one for the animation compilation was already rejected.
The channel that allegedly holds the rights to the song is called "SloFevero", and after doing my own research—and with the help of ChatGPT—I've been able to confirm that this is a clear case of fraud. Their only intention is to steal ad revenue from videos that contain the song.
(It’s not hard to figure this out—just visit their channel and listen to the tracks they’ve uploaded. It's obvious it’s a scam.)
What does this mean for the What is Logical animation? For now, it means I’ll have to remove it from the animation compilation. And if my counterclaim for the original video gets rejected in the future, I’ll be forced to mute the audio again.
Why am I doing this? Because if I continue to appeal the copyright claim, I could receive a strike—which would seriously harm my channel. And sadly, it’s likely to happen, as YouTube’s automated system tends to side with these abusive individuals who pretend to own song rights just to steal revenue from real content creators.
So even though SloFevero clearly doesn’t hold the rights to the song, they could still win the dispute.
I truly apologize for this, and I hope that someday justice is done and I can keep my videos intact. But for now, this is the situation.
The What is Logical animation will still be available as a YouTube Short and also on my TikTok platform, regardless of the copyright issues.
I'm finishing the remaster of Hide and Seek. Quick question: do you want it to be included only in the Animation Compilation, or would you like me to upload it as a standalone video as well?
In the past, I was forced to remove the song "Cry Babies" by Crystal Castles from the animation Sonic.exe - What is Logical due to copyright issues. However, a few days ago, I discovered that the copyright claim had been made by someone with no connection to the actual creators of the song.
I’m currently in the process of appealing to restore monetization on that video. For now, the audio has been restored, so I highly recommend watching it again or sharing it. I’d really appreciate your support if you check it out once more! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6K-Mm...
Secondly, I plan to re-upload Animation Compilation Volume 1 soon due to—once again—copyright issues. I’ll take the opportunity to include What is Logical in the compilation, along with a remastered version of Hide and Seek in 4K, 60fps, with small improvements in lighting and rendering. Nothing too crazy, but still an upgrade!
That’s all for now! I’m still working on new projects and hope to share them with you soon. Thanks for reading, Exe Lord fans!
Although I have new projects on the way, I will be uploading two animations of "Sonic Colors ReWorked" that were previously uploaded to my secondary channel.
I will also be re-uploading past animations in "Shorts" format to attract new audiences to the channel.
Just a heads-up: this is not new content. It's just a way to keep the channel a bit more active while I work on new projects.
Hide and Seek Animation has officially surpassed 100 Million views, thank you very much to all the people who have supported the animation and this channel in general!
