Yesterday I announced that my The Loopler written guide is coming soon! 👀

I’ve also been recording videos to explain and demonstrate parts of the guide. Those will release one per day over the next 5–6 days, with members getting early access as usual.

But when should the written guide go live? 🤔

Option 1: Release the written guide ASAP.
All written information would be available immediately, with links to the relevant videos throughout the guide. Members could watch the scheduled videos early, while everyone else gets one new public video each day.

Option 2: Save the guide for the grand finale.
Wait until every supporting video is public, then release the written guide and a dedicated guide video together so everyone can access everything straight away.

I have a TON of ideas for other games that could work well with this format! Once the Loopler guide is out, check it out and let me know what you think—I’d love to make more of these for The Grind Reporter.

I’ve spent the last few HOURS attempting what I consider the hardest challenge a player can do in Oaken Tower… and it is absolutely brutal 😭

At this point, I don’t think I’ll be able to complete it AND get the full video exported/scheduled at a reasonable time tonight.

So instead, I’m putting together my 3 closest attempts so you can see just how insanely difficult this challenge actually is.

The only people I’ve personally seen complete it are Jalapeno and SadSmurf. There may be others, but those are the two I know of.

This no shield challenge way harder than I thought since dusk shield works with lifesteal in the endless rounds, do y’all wanna see my close attempts ? Today I got pretty close I think to beating most builds but faced a build that is literally full meta (and honestly not sure if it’s beatable without shield) so if you want to see that vote down below, if it seems like y’all would rather have that over nothing for today I will post it when I get back home.

Hey y’all! I wanted to give a little more context about the ending of the video and explain what happened.

Connection Bug:
This happens when one player briefly loses their internet connection. After reviewing the footage, I noticed that my stream lagged at the exact same time, so it looks like there was an internet issue on my end that caused it.

“INF” Damage:
This can happen when a number gets so high that the game can no longer properly display it, similar to NAN/INF values you can see in games like Balatro.

That said, I can’t say with 100% certainty what happened in this specific case. It’s still possible there was something else going on with the player/build we encountered.

Either way, I notified the admins about the situation so they can investigate the specific build/player we ran into and determine exactly what happened.

Just wanted to clarify everything so nobody gets the wrong idea from the ending of the video!

Quick Update ❤️

I owe you guys a bit of an apology — The Grind Reporter has fallen behind on consistency lately.

We've been getting some pretty wild storms in the evenings, which has made it harder than I'd like to reliably record, edit, upload, and especially stream on schedule.

So I'm changing how I handle things.

I have A TON of content filmed from the last week or so, and I'm going to spend a bunch of time editing it and scheduling videos well in advance. That way, even if the weather decides to go crazy again, uploads should continue going out consistently.

Ideally, the only thing storms should affect going forward is streams, since obviously I can't exactly schedule those weeks ahead. 😂 And on that note, I also plan on streaming more whenever the weather allows!

So if you've noticed fewer uploads recently, I'm sorry! There's definitely no shortage of content or games I've been grinding — I'm actually sitting on a pretty big backlog. Now it's about getting ahead of schedule so you guys aren't waiting on me.
