What is an online business manager? I'm glad you asked!



In short, an online business manager's main goal is to make sure teams complete tasks correctly and on time. Day to day can vary but there are some tasks that can be expected.

But of course, there is more to it!

Here are some things that I do to help my clients feel more confident in their business and feel more comfortable to step away for days without having to worry about a thing.




🧩Managing Projects:



Every client that I work with has clients of their own. And sometimes 10 at a time. I mean sure they can do it alone but that gets to be A LOT! So what I do as their online business manager is look to see what is going on with every client and every project. I then organize it all, make sure files are put in the right folders, delegated out to the correct person and make sure we have all the parts we need to complete the project/tasks.



👀Overseeing Operations:



From managing projects, I now look at it from a bird's eye view through Asana to ensure everything is set up correctly and tasks are assigned to the right person. As work comes through, I look at and review as much as I can. Then hand it off to the CEO to say “hey this is done, lets get your final approval before everything is sent to the client”. Once all is done, then we do the same for the next and the next.



📊Track Metrics:

This may look like looking at analytics for podcasts, social media and blogs to make sure that every client is hitting their mark. We brainstorm together to get an idea of what is working versus what is not working.



🤓Managing People



Aside from all the operations and behind the scenes, this is one of my favorite parts of working with my clients, is the teams I manage. Yes, I am delegating out work, but I am also making sure all the teams I work with have all the things they need to get tasks done, help when needed, am the go-to person when the CEO is not available. In some cases, I may even assist with professional development to make sure everyone is set up for success.
