Sharing a love of hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking, and all that nature has to offer.

There is no AI use on this channel.

The channel is a creative outlet and hobby.

I'll stick to sharing my adventures that I expect to be accessible to the average hiker. Not much that's fancy, but I'll try to make the videos interesting and entertaining. I'll share insights to the extent they can be differentiated from other content, but have no desire to duplicate what's already out there.

I am working on a video from a recent visit to Luray Caverns in Virginia. I expect that it will destroy my hiking and backpacking algorithm. But I do occassionally post videos to my travel or nature playlists. I have a short-form video of hiking in Shenandoah National Park taken during the same trip. I'll be back on the trail very soon with more hiking and backpacking to come! Happy hiking!

My bear cannister, so full of stickers, has never been used for its intended purpose. By the end of next week I'll be in black bear territory with my buddies. We'll be hitting the Appalachian Trail in Tennessee!

Will the cannister go inside my pack or on it? I don't know... Can't wait to share the adventure with you. 🐾 🐻 ⛰️

Season's greetings, Friends! The channel is updated with a set of Appalachian Trail Playlists - by state! We hop around the trail based on the season. I hope that this organization helps visitors and followers navigate the channel to find what interests them.

It has been a wild year of AT section hikes and backpacking with my buddies. I can not wait for spring backpacking to begin. In the meantime, I’ll look for opportunities to bring you local hiking content, tips, and inspiration.

Happy Hiking and Happy New Year!

Here is a close up of how the loop is created on each side for the heal lock lace. After you make a loop using one side of the lace, you thread it through the loop on the other side of the shoe. I hope this adds clarity to the short!

I'm posting new videos from a New York State Appalachian Trail section hike. Day one and two are live. I'll post the remaining days for this 55 mile hike over the next three weeks.

I've returned with my daughter from a trip to Paris, France. I'll be returning to the Appalachian Trail this month, with some exciting adventures in The Catskills to follow. In the meantime, you may see some short posts from our trip to France and from quick trips locally to The Pocono Mountains and surrounding areas. Be well and happy Hiking!

I'll be back next week with an AT overnight video for Kinsman Ridge. Look for a thumbnail with this photo from Lonesome Lake! At the moment, I'm experimenting with vaca shorts. My hubby doesn't hike.

Can you name the mountain behind me or the peak I'm on? Just finished a beautiful and challenging Appalachian Trail section. I'll be heading out for another before I get to editing this video. So fun! Can't wait to share.

Hello friends! I will soon be heading back to the Appalachian Trail for another section hike. I just posted a new video that is unlike my traditional backpacking content. 🏖 This ambient music video was created specifically for my parents who gave us the gift of many beach vacations, but it's for all to enjoy. My father is homebound and not able to travel to the beach any longer. please give me grace in posting this video although it is not the content that you might be expecting from me.

I hope everybody is enjoying your summer and getting out into nature as often as possible, in a manner that works for you.

Over the next few weeks, I will make public four videos from a section hike of the North Country Trail as it passes through Allegheny National Forest. This section hike continues from where my companions and I ended our section hike last year. For those of you "in the know", all four videos are available and can be accessed by my North Country Trail Playlist. It will take longer for me to put together and publish the technical video I reference in the outro of each day's video. Wish me luck as I edit the components of the final fifth video
