Sharing a love of hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking, and all that nature has to offer.
[I hike for real so AI doesn't have to... 😏]
The channel is a creative outlet and hobby.
I'll stick to sharing my adventures that I expect to be accessible to the average hiker. Not much that's fancy, but I'll try to make the videos interesting and entertaining. I'll share insights to the extent they can be differentiated from other content, but have no desire to duplicate what's already out there.

I'm currenly dropping new videos every Thurdsay afternoon. Our June trip videos that includes the Mahoosuc Notch will continue to drop to the end of July. I plan to have another Maine section to share in August. I appreciate your engagement. Every comment, like and share helps get more eyes on this work. It's a hobby, but it takes time and my goal is to create durable, engaging art. I'm learning as I go. Thank you for sharing in this adventure!

The journey continues, as does my understanding of the medication I am taking. All is well.

I am working on a video from a recent visit to Luray Caverns in Virginia. I expect that it will destroy my hiking and backpacking algorithm. But I do occassionally post videos to my travel or nature playlists. I have a short-form video of hiking in Shenandoah National Park taken during the same trip. I'll be back on the trail very soon with more hiking and backpacking to come! Happy hiking!

My bear cannister, so full of stickers, has never been used for its intended purpose. By the end of next week I'll be in black bear territory with my buddies. We'll be hitting the Appalachian Trail in Tennessee!
Will the cannister go inside my pack or on it? I don't know... Can't wait to share the adventure with you. 🐾 🐻 ⛰️

Season's greetings, Friends! The channel is updated with a set of Appalachian Trail Playlists - by state! We hop around the trail based on the season. I hope that this organization helps visitors and followers navigate the channel to find what interests them.
It has been a wild year of AT section hikes and backpacking with my buddies. I can not wait for spring backpacking to begin. In the meantime, I’ll look for opportunities to bring you local hiking content, tips, and inspiration.
Happy Hiking and Happy New Year!

Here is a close up of how the loop is created on each side for the heal lock lace. After you make a loop using one side of the lace, you thread it through the loop on the other side of the shoe. I hope this adds clarity to the short!

I've returned with my daughter from a trip to Paris, France. I'll be returning to the Appalachian Trail this month, with some exciting adventures in The Catskills to follow. In the meantime, you may see some short posts from our trip to France and from quick trips locally to The Pocono Mountains and surrounding areas. Be well and happy Hiking!

I'll be back next week with an AT overnight video for Kinsman Ridge. Look for a thumbnail with this photo from Lonesome Lake! At the moment, I'm experimenting with vaca shorts. My hubby doesn't hike.
