I’ve seen a few legendary names attempt comebacks, but this one hits differently. FB Mondial is an Italian marque that once ruled post-war Grand Prix racing and is returning to India through Motohaus, with the Piega 452 set to debut at India Bike Week 2025.

For context, FB Mondial wasn’t just another European manufacturer; it was the benchmark in the late 40s and 50s, it is a brand that inspired giants like Honda. Their race bikes were hand-built works of art, powered by obsession more than machinery. It is something which talks about the passion and hardwork itself.

To see this name come back in 2025 feels good. The Piega 452 might be modern, but it carries the echoes of a golden era when racing was raw, dangerous, and deeply human.

Can Mondial’s soul survive in today’s spec-sheet-driven world? I guess we’ll find out soon enough. But excited and looking forward to this one.

BSA has stepped into the adventure segment with the new Thunderbolt, revealed at EICMA 2025 in Milan. Powered by a 334cc liquid-cooled single and a six-speed gearbox, it’s designed more for accessible performance than outright power.

You get USD forks, a preload-adjustable monoshock, traction control, and three ABS modes like Rain, Road, Off-Road. There’s a reinforced bash plate, exoskeleton frame, and high ground clearance for light off-road use.

The adjustable windscreen, Bluetooth-enabled console, and turn-by-turn navigation add some touring practicality, while the low seat height and wide handlebars should make it manageable for most riders.

Expect a middleweight ADV that’s straightforward, balanced, and true to BSA’s functional roots.
