As a mood reader, I’ve learned that sometimes it’s better to step away rather than force myself through a book. This book did NOT waste a single second getting my attention. That Prologue set the stage so heavy that I immediately had to sit back and ask: “Wait... how in the world did we get here?!”

THE CHARACTERS

Rakim: Getting those glimpses into his past has me completely hooked—he’s complex, and I need the full backstory ASAP.

Ayan: Rakim’s twin brother... and honestly, what is his actual deal?! I’ve got my eye on him because something isn't adding up.

Daylin: She’s definitely giving the "Black Sheep" of the family, but I am loving her fire, grit, and determination under pressure.

THE VIBE
Messy, chaotic, and 100% right up my alley! 🍿 I’m looking at both of their families—and Ayan—with heavy side-eye right now... something dark and secret is going on behind the scenes.
