Hello all, I'm Kris... a computer geek, an emerging artist, single mom, Army Veteran, and mental health advocate. I had always wanted to be an artist, a creative, but thought I lacked “natural talent,” so I refused to try due to fear of failure.

Two years ago, I was determined to teach myself to draw. I embraced failure because I realized it was the only way to learn. I started sketching anything I could and gradually, became amazed by the results. I decided to focus on graphite drawing (after much experimentation!) because it allowed me to correct all my mistakes and keep going (reducing my anxiety!).

That was last year… this is the present. I've officially opened my shop and my Instagram account. As a suicide survivor, I understand the consequences of giving up. I'm so proud of myself that I’m making my dream a reality and truly appreciate everyone who is on this journey with me. 💚
